This was so well-conceived. Conceptually this is brilliant! This is exactly how season 3 should have played out!

Granted that Lucifer's unreliable and cryptic behavior was frustrating, Chloe shouldn't have needed a Lucifer reveal to feel the need to be wary of who she was dating and bringing into her home, around her child. To think to do a basic background check should have been second nature to her! Charlotte's made it seem like Pierce didn't know shit about how to hide his criminal records for a guy who's supposed to have been doing it for centuries but this version of the events still reflected so much better on Chloe as an investigator and a mother.

I could go on about how stupidly blind she was about Peirce.

However, there are 2 major flaws with this piece:
1. You didn't tell us how Chloe knew about the kidnapping or where Lucifer was when it occurred.
2. This was more of a large summary than a story. I would have liked this to be a developed plot with dialogue.
I felt particularly let down in this regard by certain scenes such as:
- When Lucifer becomes embarrassed and insecure about his failed devil face reveal attempt in the precinct conference room
- Chloe and Trixie go to Lux to stay with Lucifer after the confrontation with Peirce where he'd taken Trixie from her sleepover and refused to leave her apartment.

I just wanted the full story, the full experience of the events and it's because this is so conceptually fanatastic that I feel this way.

This was SO FREAKIN GOOD! It all flows so well like it's effortless! You redid an entire season and made it look easy, well done. I also loved the attention to detail- Chloe replacing her bullet necklace for example- so many little things you included made me go "Yes I was thinking that exact same thing while watching that episode!"

Loved this story and what a great ending it had too! you're awsome and I'd love to check out more of your work. Keep it up!
