Crazy ginny story. Awesome.

Holy shit. I came here from Mistakes and Second Chances, I am not regretful that I did. This was definitely a tragedy and very realistic too. The emotional struggle that Ginny went through from start to finish was something that I have felt in my life and I was able to relate, not completely, but enough that it sticks with me. The abusive relationships, peer pressure, feelings of betrayal were all real. I feel like this could have actually happened in canon. I never thought I'd root for Voldemort and I liked how you portrayed him and the Death Eaters. Barty and Dolohov were made into likeable characters. I loved elf-Draco. Killing Luna was necessary, Ginny wouldn't have been able to move on with her still breathing. Ginny's progression from not being able to even strangle Neville's toad to mercilessly killing and torturing her enemies was perfect and the scene in the Burrow was heartwrenching. She couldn't see how much her family loved her, Molly killing Bella felt more justified in this than in canon. Neville should have been the on to kill her in canon. Did Bella decide to get with Ginny because Molly rejected her so many times? I know that towards the end there, Bella loved Ginny in (only in the way that an abusive relationship would dictate ofc). You definitely stuck to how Voldemort should be. A power hungry, arrogant man who could never love anyone. You didn't divulge from his character at all. Tom knew that Ginny would do anything for him and he could treat her how he liked, his smile when he complimented her and Ginny showed how scared she was about being second in command instead of Bella was both delicious and sick. Props to you for making a good story.

Oh god. That was the perfect ending. Absolutely beautiful. Please don’t write a sequel it would ruin it. This is Ginny’s ending, all that needs to be said has been said.

She got what she deserved

I decided to revisit this story about a week ago.

The first section where ginny becomes a death eater still had the same amount of pure dread in it that got me last time.

I found ginny and bellas relationship still crazy but after reading between the lines I think it worked really well and a lot of ginnys interactions with bella provided stellar character development. I especially liked the scene where two death eaters are discussing them. It really put into context how insane the relationship was.

But I managed to hold it together. Until the final two chapters. Both of those were excellent and are easily some of the best tragedy material on this site.

You managed to make ginny evil whilst also making her incredibly human right until the end. I cannot even begin to describe how perfectly you got her character. It sells this story and takes it to a whole new level.

The one line that really got me is:

"You'll just be remembered as a psycho who killed her family and got nothing but a cell for it."

It really drives home ginnys situation and how she got nothing out of it in the end.

So, I'm done now. Yes I did just type and essay about a fanfiction. No I do not have any shame.

The thing that pisses me off is that stupid Weasley's self-righteousness

Other than the fact that she kills her family, Ginny is a pretty pathetic character overall, you don't want her to win.

Plus strong Mary Sue vibes from her killing Dumbledore.

The feminist shit also tanks what would have otherwise been an excellent story

The violence and betrayal is great. The descent into darkness was great at first

But Ginny is just too pathetic to be likeable

This was without question one of the best stories I have ever read; not just Fanfiction but in all media. This has been one of the best-told tragedies, it surpasses Rowlings own works, and would put Shakespeare and Poe to shame. The pacing of the tale is beautiful, the insights into Ginny's mind perfect. The Story flows in a way most modern literature fails to even approach. If you should ever pursue publication of your own original works, I would happily fill my home with them if they are of even a tenth the quality this piece has been. This is simply wonderful.

I can't praise this properly.

The most tragic part of this was how much Ginny _earned_ the win. She put in way more effort than say...Thanos, or Sweeny Todd. Every time she was tortured or killed someone she once loved or got into a fight she could not militarily win, she kept pressing and after a loss came back for more.

Yet like most villains, it was in a moment of lacking villainy that she loses. It's quite clear that had she killed her mother, Bellatrix would have survived. And if Voldemort had been able to take everyone but the prophesied one with Bellatrix, the Death Eaters would have at least survived murdering Harry Potter. Which would have left Ginny with the two remaining 'people' she cared about even if they hadn't won.

Thank you for this fantastic, if deeply disturbing and depressing, story. Ginny’s character development was bleakly brilliant, and she never felt anything other than human, despite her descent into madness and evil. The fight scenes were amazing. The battles in Knockturn ally, outside Dumbledore’s office, and the battle of Hogwarts itself were all superb. If you decide to continue your ruthless Dumbledore fic, which I really, really hope you do, I’m sure the battles would be even more epic, with Grindleward, Dumbledore and Voldemort at war!

The epilogue was perfect, with Ginny all alone and despairing, her ultimate fate unknown. But I must admit I really would have liked to have seen Ron or George’s thoughts on everything a few years down the line – this story was their tragedy as much as Ginny’s. Perhaps a future one-shot?

Damn. I binged this fic in two days and damn. Just damn.

The way this all played out is tragic. You have created a masterpiece.

I will say this fic is incredibly depressing. I know its a tragedy but still. You hit all the right emotional notes and the last few chapters were perfect. Especially the epilogue. You really hit the nail on the head and you should be incredibly proud of what you've accomplished.

I did find the relationship between Ginny and Belatrix a bit over kill. But, that is really my only criticism of this story.

You've done an excellent job and as I've already said you should be incredibly proud of yourself for this story.

Funnily enough I was looking for a story like this for a bit. And, as it turns out. It was staring me in the face all along. I could fanboy for a bit longer but I wouldn't want to waste any of your time.

Anyway I need something happy to cheer me up now. Because, damn this story has made me sad.

Damn! I expected me to find some form of closer, but now im going to feel sad for the next few days.

Amazing story, probably one of, if not my favourite fanfic.

I'll admit I was one of the ones that was dissapointed (mostly because I'm the type of guy to always root for the bad guys) but I still enjoyed it. Hope to see what else you have in store, good luck.
