Your characterization of Sirius here is just... perfect. I love him. His awe over his soulmark in the beginning, that reluctant curiosity when he was dating Marlene, his jealousy when Remus was being flirted with, his excitement when he finally realized Remus was his soulmate—it was all done so well and so, so believable.

Going back to the jealousy, though—I'm so glad you included it, because jealous Sirius is something I don't see enough and I am here for it! Normally I see Remus as the jealous one, this this was a nice change of pace.

This review is all over the place, I know (in typical me fashion :P), but I wanted to mention how much I liked the little details you incorporated throughout. Regulus not having a soulmark when the fic began, for instance. It's totally true—four year olds aren't really a full person yet, so it absolutely makes sense that he wouldn't have a soulmate yet. I thought that was such a cool thing to include, since I've never really thought about it before.

And then the full moon nights. Broke my heart. They were such emotional times, and I can hardly imagine what that must have been like for the two of them. It was a heartbreaking reality that not many people would have included, and I'm glad that you did!
