Congrats, you found a way for your mc to underestimate the dangers of being in the marvel universe. First he visits killian at his homeground without a plan b, c or d. Then he knows of the power of the scepter and he sufficiently prepares for it but he still underestimates the danger of this universe. I thought he would be more paranoid considering he is afraid of dying again and he knows that he has the resources to make that possible in this life. Instead you make him play second fiddle in the avengers movie knockoff. I mean there was a point in the dialog that tony and bruce were basically having a conversation exactly like in the movie, and the mc inserts himself and then gets ignored for his efforts. I just feel like this mc is like a person watching a truck speed towards him, except in his perception everything is in slow motion. Does he avoid the danger, no! He just stands there until the truck hits him while wondering why it hurts so much.
So in the spirit of constructive criticism I would advice that you show us more of his paranoia and how it helps him stay steps ahead of others, not this rehashing of the movie which gave me a major cringe.

I'm sad, for this story seems to be dead. I hope someday you may find it in your hearth to come back to it.

Ehhh I was expecting them to get together and you pushed it decently hard with the scene with Ava, I hope you update soon, I love this story so far!

And he really is an immortal, ancient, warrior sorceror who despises what Killian and Slattery did. He takes Ben Kingsley's actor from the prison, and says that "The Master" would like to meet him...

That was really fun. Glad the Liv/Alex relationship finally started as it does make the whole thing a bit more interesting.
