I loved the part, where Harvey said that once the newness wore off, that Donna might grow tired of him. I feel like you captured Harvey so well in that moment. |

Also, “He wants to reign it in, the fondness that's flipped his insides out and wrecked him.” Fondness is such a good word ahhh, that line made me feel all warm and mushy. Amazing as always! |

The tension right from the beginning was super intense and engaging, and that feeling only increased with the progression of the story. The Darvey banter and teasing was on point and so much fun! "She hasn't figured out the line of keeping him on his toes or letting him pull her off her feet." Yes, Donna will surely feel this. There are so many other brilliant parts (this whole fic is a treasure!) in this that were quoted in other reviews. "Awe. Respect. Amusement. Need." is already iconic! I wonder if you chose the thirteenth floor for their afternoon delight intentionally. Having to wait thirteen floors/years to get together again... Donna taking control is one of my favourite parts, and that as much fun as most of this story is, the complexity of Donna's and Harvey's characters still shines through. The pillow talk was amazing, the newness of everything palpable and both of them a little insecure and so vulnerable and so in love. All in all a true delight of a Darvey afternoon that is now possible not only in fanfiction ! Thank you for blessing us with this, Blue! Xoxo |
