The Zumwalts are so terminally compromised by STEALTH and the tumblehome hull and ram bow that the fact even one made it to launching is a sign of incompetence in the procurement system, much less three. There's a reason why no one outside of the French has used it since 1900, and the French stopped a decade later. Actually staying afloat in heavy storms and with damage is something very desirable in a ship. The wake of the ship pointing directly to where it is also makes the STEALTH part questionable.

Then the same brilliant minds had to make the LCS do 45 knots. Built for around 35, the would have been much better ships.
