Told you I planned to comment this week, sorry that it's now sunday, but I simply couldnt find the time to comment earler. I hope you and your family are fine!

So now to the chapter!

Wow! Gwen did a really good job! The poor thing- is having a real hard time right now, without Arthur, pregnant and then this sometimes very annoying council. But she was strong and voiced her option, making clear who is commanding who. And I think she's right - Arthur would make sure that his people are safe too, afther all what should they fight for if no one if left living there.

It's nice to get a little glimse of what changed and happend after Merlin's magic was revealed, for example Lord Nicolas - I do like your OC caracters- since they suit the story wery well without that it get's too much out of the line.

It makes sense that Gwen chose Elyan as the regent in her absence- I would have voted for Leon though, but since Elyan is her brother it makes much more sense - of course the nobles arent happy with that since Elyan just like the queen wasnt a noble to begin with.

I hope Arthur will be back soon to stand by her side... he could be the one caring for her- not Merlin. Of course that isnt a critique! And Merlin can care for them all he wants and I am sure he'll make a great uncle - but... that still should be Arthur's part, after all it's his "fault" too. XD that will be a real shock for him - even though, a happy one.

Mithian can be quite sacry sometimes- that thought crossed my mind back through the episode and now again, her skills are amazing- and I am sure Merlin could use a strong woman by his side. By the way- I still think that MxM does fit into the story quite well.

Oh poor Merlin, already get's jelous... or rather...unsure of himself? Because of Richard ( who seems to be a nice guy) - I am glad they grew up together. But there is Arthur missing again, I bet he would talk some sense into Merlin again. At least he still tried, the idea about the ... "date-in the forest" was sooooo sweet! I love when you use Merlin's magic in such a wonderful and heart warming way.

Seem's like Mithian can read Merlin very well already! She could see that he's worried and that he's missing him in his eyes. I think it was a good decision to trust Mithian and telling her about Arthur. It was a nice chat beween tham and I really liked the way you write the two. I guess it was good for both of them to share their problems.

Maybe Merlin will grow to like Richard after all... or he'll try but still stay a little jelous all the time *gg* I wonder when he'll realise who Mithian should merry.

But next is litlle Arthur time ! I wonder what'll happen!

What a great story. I really like the development and the way both Arthur and Merlin learn in their own ways.
Perhaps Arthur will no longer be a total prat - probably that is asking too much. The whole fanfic is so well written and fluid - something often missing from stories I've read on the internet.

Hey Pumpkinmoose. Must say I did enjoy Gwen letting loose on the Council. Pompus old farts most of them. Good to see her put them in their place.
As for Merlin, good to see him getting a little jealous. This may make him take some action regarding his feelings towards Mithian. Somehow I think that it will be Mithian and not Merlin who will do this. Merlin has rather low self esteem.

Thank you for your answer last time. And of course I notices the vase was connected to Merlin feelings, I do love those little details!

But now to the new chapter. It suprised me... I dont know why but it did. I guess I didnt know how Arthur would react or how long he'll be bed ridden and so on- so the way they dealt with it was a rather pleasant surpise to me. As always you managed to find the exact right amount of struggle but not too much and not OOC at all! Even if the situation is something quite diffrent! It's amazing how well you- write the characters!

Before I continue- sorry if there might be even more mistakes in my gramma and spelling, I am rather tired to be honest, but I want to write the review now- so... I hope you'll be able to figure out what I want to tell you ,

Poor Kay... I feared that he would feel respoinsible for what happend to Arthur- Arthur himself would be no diffrent.

It's so nice that Arthur is missing Merlin even more now, that he had felt a touch of his magic, he's so used to. He's rather brave, but I am sure some of what he's been though will still hunt him at some point. But I am glad that the... torture stopped where it did. Being helpless is a cruel feeling... Arthur isnt too used to. It's a rather hard lesson to learn for Arthur and I am sure he'll ask at least Merlin if something like that ever happed to him. Don't know if he's going to tell Gwen? Dont know why but I rather can imagine him having this conversation with Merlin rather than his queen.

I do love Kay . he's an amazing character and I am so happy that you put him into the story the way he is... even thoug- I would never let Gwaine close to Kay... since I worry for everyonse sanity and safety XP

It's nice that Kay is apologizing to Arthur, the tiny king can be lucky that he's treated that way.

Any yeah... they are friends... oh I wonder what Kay is going to say when he'll get to know that he's a friend of king Arthur himself- even though he didnt make it easy for him. Seems like Arthur learned how to be humble at some point, seeing that Kay olny ever tried to help him. I really liked their interaction!

At least Arthur is going back to Camelot!

To be honest I totally forgot that Kay has magic for a second! Of course he'll be able to heal and help Arthur a little.

Of course everyyone knows, word travels fast in a castle.
I doubt that little Arthur is coming back... but maybe he'll visit again with Merlin by his side... of course he would not say that he'd been there before, but I am sure he'll manage to interact with his friends somehow.

The brief meeting with the godness was a clever trick- so we know what's going to happen and what not. So we know what to expect and won't be too disappointet when Arthur is not going to meet any of his knights or friends in person. And we can look forward to the point he'll turn back, even though I guess that there will be a little twist to it.. there is still the thing about Morgana...
But of course he as to argue with her again... and I dont blaime him, I would have trouble to belive that she would have stopped what's happing to him as well.

I am looking forward to the next chapter!

Once again, poor Arthur. Mind you, it is certainly doing him some good to see just how the serving class live - and the terrors they face from their "betters".
