The few months break allowed the second hand embarrassment from actions of Rin to dull a bit to a point I can read this story again and enjoy it rather than keep thinking about how will she screw up next, my personal opinion of her as the worst girl(no matter how defenceless her anus is) of course colouring my views a lot...

At least Shinji is self aware enough to understand that he lacks the skillet of a leader.

Over on YouTube, I encounter far too many wrong instances of the 'mathematically correct' meme. Good to see a correct usage for once.

I think you've completely screwed the pooch with this new installment of your series. it was very enjoyable until these last few chapters. lol like seriously what is wrong with tohsaka, and more importantly why are you so focused on this distorted character you created. where the hell did Luna go. and what's up with Harry? his rationalizations don't even make sense, one minute blaming matou for putting him in Slytherin and the next praising Daphne, who is a Slytherin for showing him the right way of things!

At this point, I'm halfway tempted to think that Shinji's newly inhuman nature impacted his social understanding skills... But then I remember that he'd probably say the same things even prior to that.
I used to enjoy this story for the alternative portrayal of so many characters in interesting ways... But the artifical drama caused by liberal applications of the 'take foot, shove in mouth' technique starts to reduce my interest.

Tohsaka should have reminded Shirou he owes her one for squatting in her territory.

Big Illya for the win, good for her there. I am also kind of proud of Shinji of not actually messing up the important event. I know it is a low bar there, but female company and drinks where involved and he does have a track record with that...

A bit of crosspollination for characters to the AU there, would have been a nice visit as well if not Rin being Rin. I know that his thoughts about her and killing her or considering her property was to show his new dragon nature, but at this point even a normal well adjusted person would think about strangling her to death all the same XD

This chapter was so hype for me that you don't even know, it basically had everything that I felt missing for a while now. And I don't mean just Rin on fire either, even if that wake up call was long time coming. What I found most interesting was the conversation with two monsters, Emilia who was born that way and Touko who chose to become one on her own accord. Plus the bathroom scene was done rather tastefully, considering all the hormonal teenage stuff in last handful chapters.
Plus the light fight scene with no life or death stakes was rather refreshing as well, it's like encountering bandits on the road in dnd, your not really worried and have a feeling best described as "I will be using my regular stuff on these guys, no need to explode them into chunks all over the camp", so while it's harder than necessary because of that it's not like you are in much real danger.

I was so damn busy for a while now that this is the first chapter I managed to read the same day you posted it in quite a while now. The fact that I haven't heard from you in few months now outside the updates themselves probably means you are a bit busy lately as well. I know that you are much more active with this story in beast lair and if I wanted to pester you I should go and leave a review there(not to mention vote on the actual CYOA aspect of it), but I super have no energy for it.

I can't believe Shinji still didn't lay down the rules or the house. He literally already has a girlfriend, and if he cares about her at all he should be making sure that other girls know he's off the market.

A bit of politics, a bit economy, even a bit of food, a rather nice and steady chapteroo with not too much drama, and Shinji managed to keep it in his pants the whole time, progress.

I'm interested, he is comfortable enough to talk about the fact that he is no longer human, but I guess he is still not comfortable enough to casually stroll around in his new flesh. Would it help him to just hang around his house as a demi-dragon, to learn control over it and to feel more comfortable in his new flesh, or is it draining on his reserves?

Maybe it's because there are less updates so the teenage cringe is stretched over more real life time, but the awkward hormonal power plays dominates the story to a point that I almost dreading the updates...

Sorry for bringing the negative vibes there, it is my personal opinion of course, and plenty others might disagree completely, but last handful of chapters my mind was going "oh no, oh no, not this again" quite a lot. Maybe my brain is just full of old man juice and shaking my fist towards the youth while muttering under my breath is just who I am now?

But at the same time I do trust you as a writer and if you are putting this in the story than it has the need to be there for further development.

It was interesting to see from Harry's perspective now and again, some coincidences there for his paranoia to grow, and some foreshadowing for the time travel theme of this book as well.
Rin really needs to see a therapist at this point and Shinji really needs to stop flirting with girls when he's on such a thin ice with his actual girlfriend...

Maybe this is just me, but I feel as if you haven't given enough depth on Shinji's transition of personality? I get that it's suppose to be abrupt and traumatic, and that things have been moving fast since his "deaths" but perhaps getting to see some ... melancholy toward who he is would make it better?
