I would like Vira to pull a Deus Ex Machina and come down and literally murder everyone. I hear if I peer pressure a writer enough that they'll try and please everyone in the reviews at once, resulting in obviously the best story possible, because pleasing everyone is entirely possible.

I really liked this story so far. It was well-written and gripping, with the interesting characters and original plot. I really warmed up to Jack, but the last chapter was hard to read. You don't take the prisoners with you on a combat mission!

In the original Gate anime the fact that men behaved like idiots around the anime girls was used for the comedic purpose, but here it's just jarring. I cringed strongly, when Jack dropped this idiot ball, especially since you established him as a competent character until now. If he were established as a rookie officer since the very beginning it would be excusable and internally consistent, but you went out of your way to write him as a capable leader of men.

It's a great story so far, but such small things can really spoil it in the long term.

Will there be more about the little dragon? It seemed like you went out of your way to introduce this character, but then the plot point kind of petered out. Will she be appearing in the future?

In my boredom brought on by quarantine I believe I have just stumble upon quite a gem. Fantastic writing, I haven't seen this level of writing on FF in what feels like a decade.

I would like to say nicely done with your writing. It is interesting to see the mechanisms of the British Empire and Imperialism at play in Falmart. I would encourage you to keep writing if you still desire to do so. I only started looking more into the anime, but it seems very interesting. There isn't as much of a culture shock between Saderan and the British I believe due to them both being empires. I do like how while though the British characters like Jack Campbell are the protagonists, they beliefs and values reflect the times they live in.

And Wha-Holy shit Jack's been captured by the Warrior Bunnies, if Jack will meet Queen Tyuule i hope they get along nicely and talking about the negotiations between them and the British Empire i'm predicting it will succeed btw.
