BlueRubyBeat chapter 1 . 9/4/2019 Awe this was so sad, it was a sorta happy ending but still sad! Of course Steve would do something like that, I can totally see that. Loved the fic though! Great writing! |
breannakyle520 chapter 1 . 6/28/2019 Great story. I really enjoyed it. I think it would have been a better ending than the one on Endgame. That one left a lot of questions. Thanks for sharing |
Rake1810 chapter 1 . 5/17/2019 My only issue with the movie was Steve staying in the last for all the reasons you gave even if it was clearly to write Chris Evans out (just like Natasha not coming back for the same reason). Loved this though and loved that you ended it with Buckys thoughts as opposed to Tony’s. |
mysinger chapter 1 . 5/16/2019 Loved your Endgame fix-it. I love Steve's character, but Tony was the heart of the Avengers and I hate that he died. It is totally believable that Steve would take Tony's place if he had the chance. Well done! |
stars90 chapter 1 . 5/16/2019 Oh man, that was beautiful and heartbreaking all rolled into one. Great work |
lafbnz chapter 1 . 5/16/2019 i had tears watching endgame, but this made me cry..this story matches with my idea of steve rogers thank you for beautiful read |
Nonothappening chapter 1 . 5/15/2019 That was beautifulI like it better than the real ending |
Darkca chapter 1 . 5/15/2019 Well shit. this was a better ending than what we got. I always did find it strange that returning the soul stone didn't get something back, so this was a nice piece to read |
lija chapter 1 . 5/15/2019 I consider Endgame ending to be satisfactory for everyone...grief/happiness is part of life. Your version is acceptable for a what-if. |
MaraJadeJainaSolo chapter 1 . 5/15/2019 THIS! This is what I wanted instead. I could never put my finger on WHY the whole thing seemed wrong to me, but you've managed to put my thoughts into words perfectly. Thank you |
bb1028 chapter 1 . 5/15/2019 I love Steve and hated the end of Endgame; I honestly would have preferred this ending. In a perfect world the three of them would get a happily ever after, but I agree with your reasoning to not bring Natasha back as well. Great story :) |
