Ayy you're back!

First of all, this chapter was really good. It got me hyped up for the championship, so I think it did its job. The format of the same is great (Battle City is my favourite DM arc) and I'll look forward to see the pairings now.

A question I have for you is: Will you add some custom cards, stick to the anime or add some TCG/OGC support for the characters' archetypes? (Resonators or some BW cards like Simoon or Full Armor Master, to put some examples)

Last but not least, don't let your lack of motivation get to you. You sir (or madam, idk and I don't want to be disrespectful) are a great writer and I'm glad you didn't leave this story on permanent hiatus (or deleted it). I hope everything's fine on your end and I'll patiently wait for the next update!

Great chapter to an awesome story. Good luck with the job hunting; it's definitely rough but I'm confident it will work out in the end with how much attention to detail you throw into these stories. I hope you keep writing as time allows. This story is one of the most unique Aki x Yusei fics I've ever read; and it's quickly becoming one of my all time favorites.

My main criticism this time around would just to to work on your transitions between scenes. You actually do this very well when switching between Yusei/Aki and Divine in the same chapters, but some of the chapter breaks where you swapped were a bit awkward. Also, I get what you were doing with the long stretch of villain chapters from 9-12, but it was also weird not reading about our favorite duo for four chapters straight when you write them so well.

The villain chapters are definitely written just as well as the reason most are reading this story, and your characterization of Divine is spot on. I'm looking forward to what I hope will be an eventual tag duel between Yusei/Aki and Divine/Skeleton Knight's true form. Though our favorite leads are now 8 years older, the fanatic in me still hopes this leads to some Accel Synchro action and an evolution of Black Rose Dragon. The creative use of the non-Rutger Skeleton Knight as the Duel Dragon's familiar and the duels are also piquing my interest.

I didn't write much above about the actual Yusei x Aki scenes, because you honestly write them better than the majority of others on this site. As usual, there relationship is completely believable, progresses naturally, and they are just so damn perfect for one another. You are a master of fluff and smut at this point.

There were several decisions made this time around that initially did not sit well with me, but honestly the further I read on in this tale, the more I appreciated them. I appreciate you being a realist this time around about how Aki's previous obsession with Divine was likely more than emotional and also about how Aki/Yusei likely made mistakes over their long time away from one another. The extra bit of human element to the story makes it feel that much more relate-able and less like a fairy tale.

Awesome job per usual and I can't wait to read more.

Yusei and Aki are too adorable together...I missed their relationship focused on not all these chapters with the villains. Their so in love with each other...I mean it would be obvious to everyone. Though would any of them even be aware their having sex..you except something to happen like she ends up pregnant or something.

I get the duel was part of the ritual ceremony...but I am still confused by this whole thing...even though these chapters have importance...the duels take away the focus of the plot to me. As I said I don't like them in stories...it ruins things. I personal can't wait to get back to Yusei, Aki and the rest...nothing personal. I mean at least go back and forth between them...not this whole villain centric chapters. It's not that exciting for me to read...especially when I am trying to understand what's going on when reading it. I am sorry if this offends you. If you can message me back and explain to me more on what's exactly going on it would be great...that would change things for me. Thanks.

I am still confused...I don't really get what the whole plan is with Divine...and the non Rudger Skeleton Knight? I am sorry, I think I missed it or misinterrupted it...does he want revenge on Yusei...according to what I read after he was revived after the Earthbound God ate him he was set to prison. If Yusei didn't have the fact he killed Toby revealed to Misty...nothing would have happened. Plus he stole his prized psychic from him in Aki...so what if he learns Yusei and Aki are in love? So many questions...

Interesting chapter...not to exciting for me. I see you're putting stuff from the manga with the Skeleton Knight but not having him Rudger. I just don't care too much for Divine though...not my favorite chapter. However we do need villain focus.

Yusei and Aki are going to be so horny for each other now they had sex aren't they? I mean they been longing for each other for over 8 years. Now they don't have to worry about being apart and can be with each other for good. After all, they're now in a relationship and in love with the other. They are living together now in story if I recall correctly.

I just want more to happen them just them making love to each other...I can't wait to read what happens next.

Agree with poetry, great that they finally consummated their love. Although i wish they were both each other's firsts, I think you wrote it very well. Very curious what sayer and them have in store for our couple.

This chapter was AMAZING! The fact they finally had sex. I've been waiting so long for this. I thought it was going to be later in the story...I just wish it was their first time in general...not just it with each other type of thing. Sniff. However I do respect what you did since it's your story. I just can't help it. I am sorry.

I can't wait to see what happens. Will you be showing the aftermath after their lovemaking? Would be even more in love after finally given themselves to each other? Will Aki end up pregnant with all the implicated or shown sex in the future?

This is not a bad chapter. I do hope you update soon, I understand that you're busy with college and stuff. Don't worry focus on what you have to do then when you have time update. However, I do want to add somethings since Sayar and this new antagonist that he's working with are the villains, I really want to see how threatening they can be meaning that they shouldn't be a walk in the park for our heroes.

Also, I would like to see more character growth not just in Yusei and Akiza but the others as well. But I would also like to see their struggles and how they overcome their obstacles. One thing I would have loved to see in the anime is Team 5D's losing a duel and having a falling out when things aren't working for them. I would like to see how 8 years has affected their lives and questioning whether their bond is strong as it was before or not. Plus I think this new antagonist aside from Sayer should be a bond destroyer type of villain. As he gets inside the heroes heads making them turn against each other that would really be good conflict, especially with Yusei. Since he hasn't seen them for a long time but deep down inside would feel lonely and upset. Plus why not have another evil Yusei in this story that's different from your other story fallen star. I really would like to see that concept again.
