Just binged read first 18 chapters and I have to say I'm really liking it. Season 3 was a crazy watch and it's nice to read some "scenes" between season 2 and 3. Who doesn't like some Mileven fluff/smut.

This is a reat story and i love the balance of fluff, plot, and smut. You juggle it all so well.

So good. I hope they get a chance to have some extended alone time.

Hi everyone! I'm glad and humbled that people are still enjoying my story (thank you all!), and still relieved the events of S3 don't really affect it too much, even if a lot of the assumptions I made and incorporated have now well and truly been squashed. Apologies, I don't have much time at the moment to work on prompts and oneshots but if you PM me I can at least keep building a little list to work on at some point in the future.

I'll admit that after subsequent rewatches I now sympathize more with Mike than I originally did, and I'll revise my chapter 17 A/N accordingly to reflect this. I did feel that his disrespect of Hopper was what triggered the downward spiral into getting his ass dumped, which then fed into his odd characterization for the next few episodes (i.e. it really was a product of his situation) but I can now see that Max really projected a lot of her own crap onto poor El, which led to most of the frustrating tension between her and a very hurt and confused Mike. It did serve to drive the plot, but as I said, it unfortunately drove a bus over the emotional investment we all had.

A smut oneshot would be my prompt, but this was a great chapter and again you handle the more physical side of their relationship well. I hope they get a chance to try ou a six-nine.

I like how you handle the intimacy between them. It's well writen and you don't make it all crazy and wild. It's delicate and smooth.
