Also it'd be a good idea to start in a lower powered universe so Mr MC could still require more strength as he goes to more powerful universes, keeping the stakes high. Taking the MC to DxD first, then only weaker verses doesn't really keep the stakes all that high.

As for my random lore and ideas: Chaos/Entropy Guardians.
An Entropy Guardian is a reddish void in the shape of a dragon that exists on one of the many Chaos Islands. Chaos Islands can only be found in areas where the universe is already nearing its deletion, maybe even under a decade from it's End... Entropy Guardians are nigh unstoppable, extremely fast, and are capable of dealing Void damage which pierces through even the defences of the gods. The risk in fighting an Entropy Guardian is unimaginable, but the reward, even more so...
