This was a lot to process! I really liked how the chapter started, with her running desperately through the woods. It definitely evoked the feeling that something was very wrong and Sure enough Makarov is dead! I never saw this coming or thought it would ever come, but what a bang! Laxus is no better, it at least we are seeing some sort of magic in his blood. I think it means that she has some magic too. But what will happen now that the alliance is broken? How will the princess go on and take on her father and her other duties as well as the responsibility for her kingdom.
Poor Natsu, did you really have to tear his heart to shreds and then say that her heart was shredded too. I am heartbroken myself for the two of them. We just had them share their first kiss and now we are ripping them apart! After the last chapter, I was upset that they had their first kiss and then bang, back to war and scheming but now it’s much much worse! This is just cruel punishment and torture!
But anyways, I thought the twist in the story was unpredictable and exciting. What will you plan for then next? With this part of the story ending, how many chapters do you think there will be? Also, were you still thinking of starting a sequel story as continuation of this one or would you continue this story after taking a break?

Their first kiss! After 84 chapters! I don’t know whether to be extremely excited or just beside myself with surprise. Plus you give us this little gem and then pull away.

Now, there may be another 10 chapters while they are dealing with the Griswold and whatever betrayal her father has planned.
Still, I totally didn’t expect them to have a kiss in the first place so I was happy to see it.

Wtf just happened? Damn, but I'm really annoyed with Lucy right now. I mean, why? That clearly was too much. Poor Natsu :(

Ahhhh! Kill me now. I knew the bubble would burst but I didn’t think at Makarov’s expense.

Of course Lucy would reject Natsu. She doesn’t allow herself happiness in fear it would be used against her. I hope Natsu runs to her after giving her time. Because if anyone understands her it’s him. I also am curious to know how Natsu would fair in Pergrande court politics.

...So... What will Lucy do, now? Without her friends and the dragons, she has no chance to bring down her father.

...Unless... She plans to surrender herself to her father and, when the moment is right... She'll have the both of them, father and daughter... Killed.

...Even if she were to cut ties with them, they're not going to let her go, just like that... Especially Natsu... I wouldn't be surprised, if he gives in to his blood and go feral-monster, until he finds her and brings her home. Whether she's willing to do so, or not.

Plus, they could just turn to Laxus, since they were all in an agreement that he would be the next heir to the throne, and ignore what she said to them, even if she's the next/true heir to the throne (With her father a traitor to the kingdom, that means he lost his title and a decision has to be made for them to decide if Lucy or Laxus would be the new ruler to take the throne).

Lucy desesperately needs to let go of her martyr/saint complex, she'll just end by getting herself and the kingdom killed
