Formatting is the big killer for me.
When you have multiple "speakers" within the same paragraph, it gets really weird to read. Each person needs their own paragraph. If the person talking changes, so should the paragraph. It's not always obvious who is talking with how it is currently written, and can take a few reads through to get that down, which quickly breaks the narrative.

I'm ignoring how canon this is because I've basically been skimming the story because of the paragraphing.

All good we understand. To make and continue writing a good story you need to have good ideas.

Well, crap! If Hulk is subverted this is going to make things all kinds of bad very fast. Though, I wonder how much Hulk will tolerate Bruce's and his mind being messed with? Maybe we will have the "Puny God" incident much sooner?

What does Harry thing Dean snitched on him about?

I was so excited about this story after reading the prologue and thinking about all the implications. It's become clear very quickly though, that no matter the many changes that have been made to the original tale, you're artificially keeping it on its canon rails.

That's the only real explanation I have, because no way would the changes not have created an uncountable number of departure points. Some of those could have been deliberately avoided, but many more wouldn't have been in Harry's control or even awareness.

If I wanted to name only two examples, then I'm shocked that the beginning of the Iron Man movie is happening exactly the same, despite the vast differences in Stark's company by now. In truth my issues go back much further. Harry knew about some "mole", working against the Starks' in their own company. In almost ten years Harry has never bothered to use magic in solving the problem he assumed another person's identity for?

If it's a canon rehash with a different protagonist that you want to write, then I wish you the best of luck, but I'm not interested in continuing. Without the use of basic concepts like continuity/cause and effect and the butterfly effect, this won't be a story I'm able to enjoy.

Did you rewrite this? I remember something really similar, the idea of Harry taking Tony's place, but it was split into two parts and Loki had just started to become involved.

Is this just going to be a run through of Marvel canon with a "Harry" perspective? It's too disappointing. After a long time, there was a theme which was really good and unique. I was really hoping for something great.
