Yeah...I don't think there's any scenario where something like this is a satisfactory ending to the story of these characters. I felt gypped.

Nicely done, judging by how their parting dialog mirrored what they said in the original Captain America, it does seem likely Bucky knew what Steve was going to do and that they had discussed it. I still hope we get canon clarification on if Steve lived out his life in an alternate time line with Peggy, a timeline where he was able to help her root out Hydra and such (and then near the end of his life returned to the original time line), or if he somehow managed to not create a new time line.
