As much as this made me feel badly for poor Ron, I had to laugh because you got his personality down perfectly! This is infused with Ron's humor- 'Yeah, that's exactly what I need. Total humiliation after death.' and his obituary in the Daily Prophet were both particularly amusing parts. Great job on this!

Poor Ron... This was very well done, and great job with making him in character! I loved the little newspaper article and his thoughts on having to endure all of the humiliation if he becomes a ghost.

The death notice in the newspaper had me laughing out loud. I never really thought about Ron's sorting, but you're right. I guess it kind of does seem like the hat didn't even consider that he could be different from his kin. I wonder if that's similar to what happened to Percy...

I love this take on Ron. It seems very in-character to me. And I, like everyone else, love the "Well this sidekick is scared to death" line.

But poor Ron missed the boat on this one. Being brave isn't being without fear, or denying any, it's doing things WHEN you're scared. And lord knows how often Ron gets frightened. ;)

Well, enough philisophical nonsense for me. Loved it! You're a very interesting author-and quite sadistic if I may say so. I'm definitely looking into more of your work.
