And I love how you make Peter a real person, with an actual likable personality. It's easy to see how no one ever suspected him-harder to suspect him myself, even when I know what he will do-the way you portray him. I'm having a hard time reconciling the adult I know him to grow up into-hiding like a coward for 12 years after heartlessly betraying his friends-with the friend he used to be to the other three Mauraders. Too often I think that the young Peter must have been annoying and shifty, but James, Sirius, and Remus were not stupid-they would have noticed something if it had been that obvious and they wouldn't have included him if they weren't fond of him. Remus might have, out of pity, but I doubt Sirius and James would have had the patience.

It's a sign of very good writing on your part that your story is making me think so much. :)

Oh ok, I have just read the whole lovers for tonight series, which has left me feeling far more satisfied. i enjoyed every one of them, even the story of moony and sin, that i read last, as i am obliged to dislike every story other then a remus/sirius. also particularly impressed that i didn't realise you were american until i read your profile, no slip ups in language, which is unusual. i have to say, i'm such a fan of remus/lupin that i end up wading through many awful stories and get thoroughly disappointed, so to come across your work which seemed rounded and subtle was fantastically refreshing. many thanks, much appreciated.

I loved both chapters of this fic and am now going to scurry off to read the next one.

I loved the little details you included in the story, the spell for the tight leather trousers, the spell on the jackets so they don't get stolen, the pub crawling in muggle clothes and tons of other little bits. The attention to detail makes this fic really stand out.

This was a really good story! I love the storyline, it is very well written, and both Sirius and Remus are wonderful. I also admire how it flows from one point of view to the next, and how it doesn't overload with feelings. Your writing is concise and it makes this a joy to read. :D

The first part -which I know you've written after, but that I've read before- of your story is wonderful too.

We can feel Remus'emotions and his pain, and the descriptions of the both of them together are gorgeous.

It's the best sex scene ever featuring Remus and Sirius, especially the 'smelling' part. Everything is just so true, including the reflexions about the moon, the lycanthropy and its danger...

You're writing very well - I've read it in French first but the translation (though it was great) didn't shake me as your story did.

It's my reference for the Remus/Sirius fics. I think you have caught exactly the way their relationship, if it has gone further than simple friendship, was or could have been. A mix of love, denial, fear, secrets and so much other feelings.
