This was possibly the most well written fanfiction I have ever read. Your BV characterizations were spot-on. Your original characters had such incredible depth, a level rarely seen in fanfiction. Your settings and attention to detail were outstanding. Most of all, your incredibly intricate plot was truly phenomenal. I see this is your first and only FF story. I suspect you spend the rest of your time writing published works.

Just read this through for the third time. It really is one of my favorite stories. I'll put it back away for a few months but will look forward to the next reading:). Thanks for sharing!

You were a master at sharing all the fine details and aligning everything perfectly as the story went on. You did an excellent job sharing all of their emotions (this story felt so real). I loved the thrilling, dramatic & mysterious storyline from start to finish! Loved the ending and I'm so glad heath found his family and his true home

Awe, I loved the part about nick branding heath's horse. So thoughtful. Such a good big brother.

Great last few chapters and I especially loved this one with heath and his aunt Rachael's chat. Glad she got him to open up and glad she was able to get him a good lunch and some much needed fresh air.

And major props to Jarrod for doing such a great job defending his brother

Victoria reached over and took his hand. "No Jarrod. You'll not go back as soon as possible … we'll go back."

She paused for a moment to consider her words. "Yes, we'll all go back with you."

He harrumphed. "And Nick?"

"Nick is hurt, and angry … and impetuous. But he's also fair … and he's a Barkley. He more than anyone would say Barkley's stick together. Nick will be with us."

Loved this chapter! I loved the scene with Audra and her brothers. I also love how heath has a nice gentle way of understanding people and getting his message across in a strong but calm manner.

Oh my goodness! Wow! So glad heath was not killed. As bad as heath must feel after the bear attacked him at least he wasn't shot and killed... but who was out there trying to kill him!? Yikes! Barkley ranch better get some extra protection quickly.
