Enjoyed reading your story. It's never made clear exactly what happened to Earth and what the intentions are for the future of the human race. Are all those ships going through the wormhole to Edmunds planet, or are they going other places too? I'd like to think that if mankind has solved gravity and can get those ships off the Earth and into space, that some people would stay behind on Earth to use the resulting technologies to help heal and save Earth as well.
