Reviews for A girl and her tank
Kknd2 chapter 11 . 8/13
Okay, gonna say I love what you have Montmorancy doing here. Her argument, that it will save the lives of nobles by delegating the work to expendable commoners? That's good logic that. And terribly naive in a wholly appropriate manner. She's 100% right that it'll cut the number of mages on the front line... she just isn't thinking it through. When the firepower of a line Fire mage is in the hands of any commoner supplied with 'modern' weaponry, why should they care for the Fire Mage noble's objections to their actions? They don't need that haughty lord, and if he wants to fight them with fire, they've got fires of their own to hurl back.

I also like how you've shown her cunning family loyalty here. She knows how big a deal this is and while I don't think it'll work out how she's picturing, it's smart for her to try to keep this under wraps while working up to a big sale to the desperate royals of Albion. Which will also potentially keep Reconquista away from Tristan's shores as well.

James Birdsong chapter 21 . 6/21
This is a good chapter
fencer29 chapter 21 . 6/16
Hopefully that river comes out above ground before it drops off the edge of the floating continent. All rivers may eventually lead to to the sea, but the journey to the sea from Albion usually involves an extremely long drop.

Also, it seems like you lost a sentence somewhere in that first scene, between "she would kill them if they lied." and "couldn't hear anything." (probably an electronic editor ran rampant and deleted an entire line or two).
James Birdsong chapter 20 . 5/20
Great
fencer29 chapter 20 . 5/18
Various armored vehicles, field artillery, automatic weapons, anti-tank rockets, and now the concept of airborne assault (at least dragons are probably better at landing troops intact than gliders), tactical air support, and even a military advisor? Just how many people have been crossing over into this world lately, and bringing their technology with them?

So, will Duchess Karin arrive in time to collect her wayward daughter (at which point Louise may wonder of she wouldn't have been better off being captured by the enemy) or will Kirche and Tabitha rescue her (along with themselves)? Guess I'll just have to wait for the next chapter to find out.
Ojisake chapter 20 . 5/17
Damn son, you somehow made a chimera between england first civil war and february revolution: poor karin, she's oblivious of how herself is an outlier, being a powerhouse and stuff.
Now about the chapter I find contrary feelings about the whole wardes scene, for one part I'm glad he didn't become in the unkillable mememan and gave him a good closure, by the other hand I'm not gonna argue about how he didn't fire first but why he seems to accept his death (I mean, he could at least bail out of louise if he really tried) considering how tenacious he was in FoZ to carry his mission (aside of the convenient plotpath for louise-saitou romantical development he became in) and more relevant, why he conveniently carry with him the letters about the windstone crysis (or whatever big threat you want to make)?
TMI Fairy chapter 20 . 5/17
The stereotypical Soviet was a let down ...
Ojisake chapter 19 . 4/7
Hold on, my understandings about the obscure bits of halkeginia world is hazy at best so I need to ask, these (aparently lesbian) vampires are OC or canon characters?
but more important, how they have a weapon collection as big as the church one?
fencer29 chapter 19 . 4/7
Seems like quite the collection of artifacts they have there - anti-tank rockets, semi-automatic pistols and submachine guns. Fortunately at least two of the three might be considered reliable enough for use in combat (sten guns may have been cheap and easy to produce but they definitely were never know for their reliability)

But where did Amethyst come from? I gather that she's a friend of the Duchess (whose name BTW is "Karin", not "Karina") but is she a vampire (a race not even mentioned in canon)?
TMI Fairy chapter 19 . 4/7
Frozen wastes of far eastern Germania ...
I remember a German telling me about the weather programmes on TV having lots of fun when during some winter there was 20C difference bwteen the western and eastern border - 3C across the river from Strasburg and -17C in Kuestrin :)
TMI Fairy chapter 18 . 1/12
So, now Lousie is high on Pervitin?
TMI Fairy chapter 17 . 1/12
War Criminal Lousie?!
Wow!
This is Dark.
But I like the story for its brutality.
IMO a point to remember is that the Zero is SIXTEEN - it is easy for the likes of Henrietta or Wardes to make her do whatever they want. The fall back on "I must follow orders of my betters" was very well played here!
TMI Fairy chapter 15 . 1/12
Hilarious!
I can only guess at what the tailoress thought Kirche wanted :)
TMI Fairy chapter 12 . 1/12
I'd love to see the old pervert burst a vein and be paralyzed.
So, how does "going to Albion" and "working off her debt" work in parallel? How will Mum react? Especially to Daughter Dearest being USED?
