Why would you change such details, if so much of the rest of your story is based on Canon?

Wonderful first chapter

So sweet.

Wow, no reaction at all from Molly was a surprise. Ron blew up awfully hard given he was basically pumping his 'girlfriend' out to his older brother this whole time. And it figures Ginny still assumed a relationship when the last conversation they had ended it over a year earlier. Very nice chapter and now we can see them get on with life and that wicked plan of Hermione's.

That was the most head canon accurate and just darn sexy description of Hermione I've ever read. And very sweet and intimate moment between them as well. And with no cause for jealously, probably my favourite chapter so far too. Brilliant.

That's a bit shitty of Hermione. They only just 'talked' about how Harry got jealous, and she is doing it with Charlie again, then gets possessive when Ginny fawns about Harry? Can't have it both ways, missy.

Arthur was great. I do so like him being the supportive dad we all know he is. You have switched the Twins too. In the first chapter you say they are mourning the loss of Fred, but in this, he is in the air playing Quidditch with them and they're missing George.

Good chapter though. I'm curious how and when it will all come out and the reaction, though if they are truly friends it should be nothing but supportive about finding her family. Unless we're getting bigot Weasley's in this who don't get liking Muggles.

Good boy, Harry. That's how you show your appreciation for a great witch like Hermione.

Definitely a great story. Hope that you plan to write a lot more of it because I plan to read a lot more of it.
