YEEEEEES this is so sweet and so perfectly in character for the both of them :3 I especially loved the comparison between "Gryffindor-style" bravery and the bravery it takes to be vulnerable, especially knowing what a hard time book!Hermione seems to have with emotions... Loved it.

I have probably read it on tumblr first? But my second read just now was as gripping as ever! The angst that started the story was incredible...her thoughts to hold on enough just to allow gossips travel to him, attempting to somehow hurt him, and later her resolving to admit it's not worth it...these feelings are what I love from 6th year! And their conversation in the common room, despite being AU, delivered that too! Great work! Thank you for sharing!
