Yeah tell em, I just hate how Westallen fans are like "Snowbarry is a racist ship" or how "You only ship Snowbarry because Caitlin is pale". It is so annoying because I ship them, because they have a lot of chemistry, more that iris and Barry ever had. Trust me I DON'T HATE Iris I just ship snowbarry.

I used to like Iris and Barry at the beginning (I'm a sucker for one sided love) but lately she's being really annoying. Besides, everybody else gets to overcome the death of important people in their lives (Cait with Ronnie, Cisco with his brother, Wally with his mother) but Iris dies and it's the freaking apocalíptic wasteland. Anyway, rant aside, I really liked your work, it actually makes a lot more sense than the original explanation for Savitar lol congrats!

Perhaps the CW-DC-verse should just leave relationships to the Fanfics, they don't seem to understand how to do it in a way that doesn't leave almost all of the canon stuff being hated by fans.

If only Savitar had succeeded... then it might have been less toxic. Even if the showrunners still messed things up with whatever next relationship they used, it destroys the both-calling-Joe-dad thing, the Eddie-second-pick thing, etc. Assuming they tried, it could mean they'd hopefully get replaced sooner... along with their relationship crap, whether going to another ship or redeeming their second choice somehow.

This fic gave me a good laugh and I also agree with it wholeheartedly, including the little dig at Smallville.

I see the WA fans constantly on Spallen and SnowBarry videos, spewing hate with words like "racism", though they don't have any business there.

Almost all of the SnowBarry fans call out only Iris the character for her behavior. The WA fans, on the other hand, insult other shippers for not shipping WA and have even given SnowBarry fans a disrespectful name- SnoreBarry shippers. I wonder how they would react if someone decided to call them IncestAllen shippers.

Also, according to them now, any person of color who doesn't support Iris or WA is a "traitor." Retarded, toxic a-holes.

Also, WA isn't worse than Olicity at times. It is worse than Olicity all the time.

Hmmmm! This would have made more sense as to why Savitar wants to kill Iris. Barry is riddled and wracked with guilt at the fact that he pushed his closest friends away when they needed him most because he prioritized Iris over everyone else. Mama mia!

Anyway, I completely agree with you on the West/Allen front, I got accused of hating Iris just because she was black, even tho I’m black too. Your logic is reasonable and has absolutely nothing to do with favoring someone or smth else, which I absolutely love. I agree, however, that the WestAllen relationship on the show has become...not the greatest. At least in your fic, that situation, and Savitar, got fixed without anyone having to die.

Yes, most people who dislike Iris aren’t racist. But there are outliers of the fandom who do discriminate against Candice Patton. I hate when people can’t differentiate between fictional characters and the actors portraying them.

Admittedly, Clark doing that to Lana was a little on the creepy side. Nice work here with Savitar calling out Barry like that.
