Omg I loved it ! It was so sweet ! Poor Steve had very bad luck in all the 3 seasons and meanwhile it's pretty fun it's also pretty sad that he can't have his happily ever after. The way his father talked to him in your story was very painful and then it seems he can't catch a break. It's nice to see all his friends helping him and being there for him. Really great !

Another fantastic story! Really enjoyed reading this! Felt very bad for Steve for everything that went wrong for him. Hated his father and his landlord for that. Loved when El helped calm him down when he had that anxiety attack, and when she shared her Eggo with him. Glad Joyce found him and invited him to stay at her place for a while. Especially loved when everyone planned a surprise party for him on his birthday, and when he was given those gifts and Hopper invited him to live in his trailer. Agreed that family can be chosen as well as friends.

I love this sooooo much! Steve as a cop is one of my favorite 'projections' in future ST and his dad being an a**hole is almost as canonic. El being the first step and Joyce and the whole party stepping up is very cool. Kudos!
