For all of those who keep on saying that Shirou's projections (Traced Version) last as long as he wants them to or broken then NO, that is not how it works. That only works on mundane/ordinary objects like cups, dishes, and etc.

Ex: Due to the extra effort, it is possible to produce incredibly stable ordinary items that can remain in the world seemingly indefinitely after their creation, unless broken or dismissed.

The reason why Shirou's traced weapons/objects don't last long is because they are slightly inferior to the originals due to the fact that only so much information can be gathered by sight alone, and Noble Phantasms are degraded by an entire rank. Because of the degradation/incompleteness, the items are not everlasting, thus are recognized by the world as a phantasm that doesn't belong in the natural world, and will be erased as an inconsistency. The better the image in the caster's imagination, the more stable and longer lasting the object will be, and it can be further improved by having technical knowledge of its construction, such as a blueprint, or having materials to overlay the desired shape upon.

Why does everyone keep making Shirou's projections impermanent? They last until they're broken from what I understood.

Definitely for the best that Shirou didn't try tracking with Hrunting because Hrunting doesn't work that way last I saw. It'll home in on a target, but only if you're aiming at it.

There are 2 reasons why magecraft is kept secret to the populace. First is that the more people draw from it at the same time, the more Magecraft’s capacities become mundane. In short, the greater is the collective number of magi, the weaker their individual power. Like say for example, if someone has a magecraft that let's one fire off 1000 spears and then another person learns the same magecraft, it leads to the both of them to fire only 500 spears now. The second reason is because the ambient Mana in the atmosphere of Earth is slowly dwindling right now ever since the end of The Age of Gods, thus making Mana limited to all magus's. Most if not all magus's relies on Mana as it is the greater source of raw Magical Energy that surpasses their own Od (life-force Magical Energy) thus letting them be able to use more of their own magecraft. The more Mana there is in the air, the easier it is for a Magus to be able to use their magecraft. For those who don't know, Magus's can't directly use Od or Mana for their spells as they are Magical Energy in it's RAW state, that is where Magic Circuits are there to process them into usable Magical Energy to be able to cast their spells.

That's... Not why magic is kept a secret. But whatever, I'm not going to plug-in a huge wall of text of the real reason. You should just fact check things before writing them, or say in an AN that some things might be changed/wrong. I still enjoy this because I'm not a stickler for details.

Matte objects made by Gradation Air don't last very long but Matte objects made by Shirou's Projection last indefinitely (disappear if they break or if Shirou wants them to disappear)

The only reason why Gaia hates humans is because they will be able to survive when the planet dies and Gaia didn't like that.

It must also be remembered that in Nasuverse the GODS and divine spirits are different, the GODS have their full powers and the divine spirits are the remains of the gods.

the gods in Gate - Jietai Kare no Chi nite, Kaku Tatakeri do not function exactly like the GODS and divine spirits in NAsuverse, so profavro do not treat as if they were the same.

the disoes in Gate - Jietai Kare no Chi nite, Kaku Tatakeri depend on the planet to continue existing. In Nasuverse the GODS and divine spirits do not have that limitation of existence.

Though of course the projections won't disappear immediately as it takes a while for the World/Gaia to recognize them as phantasms to be eliminated...
