This is such a cute story, and this chapter did my little Lukanette-loving heart good.

Was reading some reviews, and I’m a little thrown off by how many people are getting mad at what Mari is doing.

Of course Mari is going to be “stringing [Luka] along” and “giving [Luka] false hope,” because she doesn’t know that the love square is (presumably) end game. We have to keep in mind that, for her, she is legitimately giving Luka a chance. And if this chapter is anything to go by, he used it very well. It sure seems like, out of the ships, Lukanette is doing the best so far.

Also, people are getting mad over the Kagami thing, but they seem to forget that Marinette definitely has some form of anxiety. Not to mention Adrien’s comments about Chloé. Sure, Mari could have definitely done better in hearing him out, but would you really do much different in her shoes, especially when there are other guys you KNOW will treat you better? (Because as it stands, she feels hurt by Adrien, and I think it’s pretty understandable. Even if she knew the comment was a joke, it still demonstrates that Adrien doesn’t SEEM to be giving her the chance she wants to try and mend his heart, even if he has fallen in love with Mari.)

Adrien isn’t doing himself any favors. He gets all pouty, tries to ruin Mari’s date (yes, I get it, he’s jealous. And he tried not to hurt Mari. But the fact is that, by ruining her date, he’ll definitely end up hurting Marinette somehow, even if his target is Luka), and is honestly lucky Marinette didn’t notice him on his fake date with Juleka. I kind of wish she had, to be honest, because that was underhanded. I liked it as a story aspect, but if we are throwing stones, Adrien deserves them just as much (if not more) than Marinette. I don’t see why he’s getting a free pass when she isn’t.

Man, that was so sweet. The dorks are adorable. I loved the mistaken napkin trip for a proposal. These two are so adorable and sweet and just ahhhh.

As much as I love Adrienette and Marichat and the love square as a whole, I got admit that - at least in FanFiction - Lukanette has a very large place in my heart and I’m going to be sad to see it go away in this fic (cause I’m pretty sure Lukanette is not endgame).

Let's hope that Marinette realizes that what she is doing is wrong, that she shouldn't give Luka false hope.

Seriosuly, Adiren isn't dating Kagami, and that is Marinette and him thinking aorunf. Marinette is still not coming off good here, and whiel Adrine isn't exactly doing right, right now, but he has at least more context.

Luka's threay feels cheap and if he tried to fight, which I kind of hope he does at some point, Adirne own him, becuaee betweent he two, Adrien is the only one with years of combat experience, and for Adrien that' swith and without the mask.

I seirosuly hope someone tears Marrientte a new one, soon, because she sin't likelable in thiss tory anymore. I'm mainly sticking around to se her get punished and grow up more and see how Adirne and her manage to works thigns out, but as it is, she needs to suffer.
