ok, earlier you said some non-sworn types had to take the knight bus to St. Mungos because they couldn't apparate or floor. So how the hell did Albus and Minerva return to Hogwarts? From either London or Devon, depending on if that meeting was at the Burrow or Grimmauld, via Knight bus, is a long ass trip. Added to that, it'd be damned crowded if everyone trying to travel had to take the bus.

For that matter, without the floor, how the hell are all these people getting to the Ministry to swear the oath? It's in London but magical live all over the country, often in secluded areas. They'd need a dozen plus Knight buses running to ferry everyone to the Ministry if none of them can use the floor until they sear the oath.

Why did they change their minds? As I am not a Dumbledore fan, I firmly believe he was quite capable of changing their minds for them ... with compulsion spells. Dumbledore wanted Voldemort dead, and if he had to sacrifice the Potters to do it, he obviously felt it was for the Greater Good. Pity he didn't think THEY deserved to be saved, like all of the other murderous DE families he goes out of his way to save.

the whole thing with the queen doing stuff was right out of left field since there was no mention of anything till sundenly everyone has to take a oath or lose there magic seems like you could not figure anything better and used it as a cop out.

I was reading this, and I think Draco’s birthday is listed as June, but I thought, just for giggles... wouldn’t it be interesting if Draco winds up being marked in 5th year, and if you count of on things, his parents could have defied Voldemort 3 times. If Narcissa was unmarked, using some excuse, that could have been one way of defying him. Lucius giving up the diary when told to protect it, could be another, and not sure of the other, and if Draco saw his parents in danger...accidental magic, wand less magic, love magic, something, might have blasted Voldemort and killed him. You could even have the light appearing from the RoR, Grimmauld Place, the Gaunt shack and Harry’s scar. And Kreature screaming that Master Regulus’ order is finally fulfilled. And have Albus present. It would even be better if it was between 4th and 5th. What would the energy do to followers of the Dark Lord it’s children who were friends of Draco’s? What would it do to Lucius? What did the Dark Lord ask Lucius to do that he might have refused or been unable to fulfill or that he defied him on.

Lol, just a thought when I was reading of James and Lily facing him 6 or 7 times, so who else could it be. But this was a thought. Lol. And it is now 12:38 am after a long, hard shift. So my brain went wandering.
