He would become more shirou than zuko but instead of being hot headed he would be calmer due to experience. Instead pf being pessimistic he would be more of a prince

So I got here from reading Throne of Swords and this fic actually pretty decent. The idea is actually pretty nice and it’s a good read. It might be worth it to keep it going. Keep doing what your doing mate.

I'm enjoying this story and I actually appreciate this odd combination of Shirou and Zuko you've created. But I do feel like the weight of Shirou's existence would weigh more heavily on Zuko than they already do. I also think that the more Zuko sympathizes with Shirou's past the more Zuko will become like Shirou. Like how Shirou became more like Archer due to sympathizing with his existence. Tracing should definitely change Zuko to be more like Shirou. I can definitely see Zuko in this not caring about Ozai. Azula is sufficiently like Illya to get a pass, but Ozai may end up getting shot by an arrow.

Can't wait to read more.

I think you're doing a good job so far balancing the two blends of personalities. Memories make up a person, and it's nice that while Shirou's experiences greatly affects his perspective on honour and saving people, and cooled his temper to some extent, its still quite Zuko with his scowling and serious personality, in this life he IS only 13 with a rather traumatic experience. If you ever get around to it, I look forward to other POVs, the Gaang, and whatever happens within the 3 years. Thanks for the story.

I love what you're doing. You're right in improving Zuko's character from the get go (although this wouldn't have worked in canon as Zuko had to fight with himself). And Iroh and Shirou both get the family they so desperately need! That in and of itself warms my frigid heart.
I wonder how this would work out though. I mean Zuko wants to capture and inadvertently kill the avatar while Shirou would still pursue his ideal. Their goals are different and sometimes oppose each other. Hope there is more shirou in there so he...actually I don't want him to help the avatar. That makes it sound like he would be a supporting character.
No, I want shirou to be the one to save the world! To be the true hero! I think that idea would be refreshing, to have Aang not be the all important figure he is painted to be. I like the world of avatar but sometimes I think the avatar himself is stupid. I mean relying on one individual to solve all your problems, no fucking wonder the people need him to deal with spirits. In a way the avatar weakens people's relationship to the spirits as he is the only one to interact with them. Instead of bringing balance the avatar forcibly became a linchpin, making the balance fragile as fuq.
Not to say aang is bad, but again it's kinda silly to expect a 12/13 year old boy to master 3 bending styles in about a year's time when it takes years to master a single style. All that pressure. I know the avatar has the power, but again that just makes it seem like people rely on him too much to solve all their problems. So what? Even if hope looks lost people presurvere, even if they are weak they fight and make victory with their bare hands!
I also thought it could be funny if those twin dao swords become noble phantasms in the future if Shiroy is going to be some vigilante. Imagine stories of the blue masked assassin who kills corrupt officials in the night. finally an actual assassin class heroic spirit who isn't one of those zealots (if I remember all the proper assassin class HS are from that small group)!
Oh, and the next HG war there are 3 Shirous! Shirou, EMIYA, and the blue spirit! That's a pretty good thought for an omake..

I hope this continues. It's a great story idea.
