I hope you update soon! I’m excited for the Christmas chapter! When will Daugr make an appearance? If you happen to be looking at how to further develop the relationship with Hiccup and Astrid but not cringe at the time line after Heather’s death, you could always do some time jumps. Nanny’s stick around some anyway and Daugr has to “settle back in” anyway. Looking forward to the next chapter!

Why do I get the feeling that Astrid is going to lose a part of her leg like Hiccup because of her Knee. Honestly would be such and interesting plot point!

I am so enjoying this one! I love how well Astrid has fit in with Hiccup and Hannah. I also am enjoying her more protective and loving side coming out. It's definitely fun watching the romance between the two blossom. Thanks for a fun and wonderful story and I can't wait for the next chapter!

I think this is my favorite fanfiction ever. In any fandom. So cute and fluffy and sad and angsty! Poor Hiccup!

Hanna being adorable and hurt and some Hiccstrid “friendship”. What could be better? I have no idea. You couldn’t write a Christmas chapter without a little angst could you. It’s still full of fluff so I’m good. This story almost makes me want to ship Heathcup but I’m staying true to Hiccstrid. I wonder what shenanigans they’ll get up to next.

I don't normally like read fanfiction set in modern alternate universes, but this one I really enjoy. The dialogue is great, the characters are well written, and the story is phenomenal. I just really like it, especially this chapter. Hiccup and Astrid are, without a doubt, a perfect couple. I look forward to when they finally get together.

I wonder when Dagur is going to come in again, and I am concerned about what he might do. Will he sue Hiccup for custody for Hanna, or will he just try to kidnap her from the start and claim it as a rescue?

The first Christmas without Heather? It's going to be rough for Hiccup, and Hanna, as memories of Christmases past haunt Hiccup while he deflects Hanna from what she'd really like to get for the holiday.

Astrid's time away with her family should be interesting as she has to fend off those who know how she should live her life...
