Lord Nayrael chapter 14 . 6/25 Ichikan Empire considering Yotsuban Republic harmless, and taking their advice at face value, is such a common trope that the then reigning Empress should feel ashamed! This was quite an interesting history read! Though it felt as if there were fewer parallels to the Manga, but that was probably to be expected as it's harder to do one-on-one transfer. But great though! Still, I did expect the Fuutarous to make a blow, as Uesugi Fuutarou did in the Manga. |
Guest chapter 14 . 6/24 Where has this story been all my life |
Lord Nayrael chapter 13 . 2/28 So the scramble for the Heart of Uesugi starts. Ichika Empire is only on paper ruling over all the nations... until they remind you that their treasury poured into your projects by forcefully Brexiting you. A shame that Yotsuba was not nearly as cute of a schemer as the Republic of Yotsuba here. Takedas: "We finally meet for our glorious battle, Fuutarous! I know your people have awaited this glorious moment as much as we did!" One Fuutarou to the other: "Who the heck are these guys? You ever heard of a land called Takedasultanata?" i won't lie, "War of the False Apostle" sounds lit! |
Lord Nayrael chapter 12 . 1/16 Kingdom of Nino not caring about treaties? But they were the most obsessed about getting along with other states (albeit in tsundereish manner), what's this?! And I don't trust those Yotsubans, they will corrupt the poor Ichikan Empress! I did wonder how you would handle the Kiss scene here. This was a smart way around it. The deception though... I can actually see you breaking your head over how to handle it. We will forgive you this one cheat ;P Thermae Romae you say? I see, so you are a man of culture as well. |
Lord Nayrael chapter 11 . 12/15/2019 The Imperial City of Examinia... now this feels like a story that Fuutarou or one of the Quints wrote XP Treaty of Examinia sounds like Treaty of Tordesillas. The Confession Mountains! Now I am SURE that this was written by one of the Quints! It's so Nino to ignore everyone who is bickering about a mountain, and just build a fort on that mountain. |
Lord Nayrael chapter 10 . 10/8/2019 Ah, good to see you update it again! Poot Fuutarous, their isolation did not last for longer than 3 years. And I do so wonder which nation used the guns... I wonder how you will handle the Exam Arc, and how you will represent exams in the first place. |
Xiuzou chapter 9 . 7/14/2019 Knowing what happens next, here's my predictions. The Uesugi tribes have been in contact with the maruos and have decided to form a blockade on the ocean. After the blockade is completed, they go off on the Maruos for their underhanded tactics and say that they've lost their purpose |
Lord Nayrael chapter 9 . 7/14/2019 Legends say that to this day, the Fuutarous still haven't found the fabled Kintarous that the Ninoists talked about. Where the hell did they even find them? That Ekiden League be like "Why doesn't Sernpai notice us? Maybe if we block their ports, they will notice us?" That was certainly quite an epic naval crisis. And of course the Ninoist ship would ram right into the enemy flagship. Of course. Also, I don't blame the Itsuki Captain. Some rumors say that the Fuutarou ambassadors convinced them to go into the offensive. Nionists were right not to trust these shady people who sometimes pretend to be a different people. Truly unforgivable! |
renzoac chapter 8 . 7/1/2019 Can you feel it? It's just a matter of time. |
Lord Nayrael chapter 8 . 6/30/2019 Well, that certainly was a major diplomatic catastrophe. Hopefully no wars are started because of it. I can't imagine what the Queendom will do 30 years in the future! So the Commonwealth did not abandon the Nakano Sphere? I thought they'd have even moved their capital to the new continent for a while. The aristocracies of the Queendom sound like fans of the cheesy romantic books and tales of knighthood. I can imagine how over-romantized the tales of Kintarous are in the courts of the Queendom. |
WereDragon EX chapter 7 . 6/29/2019 I have to say, I really enjoy these latest updates. Keep up the good work. |
Lord Nayrael chapter 7 . 6/16/2019 In a way, this feels like the Prologue of a new era. Smart move to adapt that chapter in the way that Yotsuban Republic shows the Fuutarou ambassadors great stuff about Renan cultures, rather than the Yotsuban culture. "Don't you people have any culture of your own?" Tensions are rising eh? I guess we are going to have a war between two states soon, and that smaller states will force the Yotsuban Republic to cut all relations with Fuutarous for the Great Olympic Games. I wonder how you will adapt the mystery of Lolikano into the story here? |
Lord Nayrael chapter 6 . 5/18/2019 In modern times, there would be a movie called "Road to Bonfire Altair", made by Dalt Wisney. The Maedas are also going to conquer the lands of Uesugia? Bro, I never thought I'd see you write Yaoi. But good job incorporating the Maedas this way. They looked like a tough nut to crack to me. The Fuutarous though that this deception would ensure the safety of economic relations with the Ninos. They probably did not think that the exaggerations would make the Ninoans want to add those warriors to their ranks. Probably also marry them with their own people t make martial super babies. I'll call this "The Kintarou Folly". I expect that the next historical entry will feature a war between two Nakano nations? |
Guest chapter 5 . 5/8/2019 Looks like that caste of bureaucrats is digging their own grave. Nakano countries must go their own way even if they are separated. |
Lord Nayrael chapter 5 . 5/5/2019 It was pretty interesting to see how the realms inspired by the elder three Quints shaped themselves up. Wished we got as much info on the Commonwealth and Republic as well. That whole history about Tezuka was pretty bloody, and badass. Is this a reference to the claims that Nino was not popular with their staff? The Maruo eunuchs were thus the first to miscalculate what the Ninos will do in future. |
