What an excellent story! Your Harry is a joy to read, and his struggles with magic are engaging and well-written. The pieces of magical theory you throw in are also really interesting. I know it's been a few months, but if you do find the motivation/time to continue at some point, I will happily read more!

Poor Harry! Really enjoying this story.

You've written perhaps the best Harry collection chapter I've ever read and I've been reading fanfiction for years. It was funny, different and interesting all at the same time.

I would say that "who believe that magically world is" should be "who believe that the magical world is". And Dumbledore by age would probably say "nappy" instead of the more modern "diaper".

Really looking forward to the next six chapters. I hope this Harry either ends up in Hardworking Hufflepuff or Inquisitive Ravenclaw but we shall have to see. Loved the McGonagall bit, that was genius.

I think the professors, especially Dumbledore, are being really cruel by not helping Harry understand his unique magical core & pathways. Harry’s developing magic was heavily damaged by torture Curses and the fact that his parents & family were ripped away at the age of 15 months. No Healer or Social Worker ever investigated his circumstances nor provided any treatment. There was no surviving magical adult who cared.
Instead, this traumatized toddler was abandoned in the Muggle World with abusive non-magical relatives for almost a decade. In this hostile and isolated place, the unwanted War orphan grew up starved of love, care, and basic nutrition which resulted in a very quiet, determined, intelligent but self-reliant loner. Harry has had little reason to trust either adults or any common ground to relate with his peers. He has been existing in “Survival Mode” & learned not to draw attention to himself. He has no emotional ties with anyone but has developed a huge thirst for knowledge.

Dumbledore meets this 10-year-old survivor and then discovers that his magic is fractured and warped. Moreover, the boy is ignorant about his ancient family, Magical culture and their hidden community.
So, what does the Leader of the Light do?
He sets up the ignorant & abused child alone in an efficiency flat in London’s magical shopping district — without any Adult supervision or contact... for over 2 months. Except a house elf! (Is that even legal?)

Just found this story. Up to date and looking forward to the next chapters. You write very well. Both descriptive (without being too wordy) and easy to follow. I love the wit of the characters. Can't wait to see how Harry goes with classes ... and I hope he finds a way to flourish.
