I really enjoyed this story and love that Walt was emphasizing making room for her in his life at the end of it. Post retirement I hope he builds that cabin into a beautiful home for the two of them. I love how you have woven in the subplots and how keep the Walt/Vic relationship centered even tho this is a murder mystery it was always their almost psychic understanding of one another that made them such a great team on and off the job.
