Reviews for So Far And Out Of Sight
Godschildtweety chapter 5 . 5/7/2019
Really good
PastOneonta chapter 5 . 5/6/2019
This was excellent, thanks for coming back to conclude with an epilogue. I was glad they didn’t wait to be together. Killian can still do all the ‘courting’ he wants, but they were ready to be intimate and it was wonderful. I love the conclusion as she learned he traded his ship for her. That is such a meaningful demonstration of his love and commitment and she finally finally gets it and accepts it and returns it. Thanks for writing and for sharing.

Great chapter and Baratta
BlueFlanmes chapter 4 . 4/6/2019
Yes! Another amazing chapter! Loved the way you handled things, and the great balance between their forming trio little family unit (would love to see more of it eventually) and Killian reassuring Emma as she takes a huge leap. Excellent story! :-)
PastOneonta chapter 4 . 4/4/2019
Wow! This was lovely. Emma finally listened to all of her self and the fears and worries she had been burying inside her. Her conversation with Killian at the water was excellent. The reunion in Storybrooke was perfect. Everyone was decent and kind. I really liked David with Killian, showing Killian respect and appreciation while still being Emma’s father. That was nicely written. I liked the ending and Killian planning to court Emma and Emma telling him she was ready for all of it. Thanks for writing!

SO CUTE! Glad all got resolved, seemed like the end of the story, which was quite satisfying, but hopefully there will be more fun dating/adventury stuff now that they are back in Storybrooke! Lovely story, thank you again for sharing/updating! :)

I'm almost disappointed, I wanted to see more of Hook settling in to modern life outside of storybook.
But it's fantastically written.
PastOneonta chapter 3 . 4/2/2019
Huge development in this chapter, full of painful truths. Emma can be harsh when she feels cornered or forced to face facts she doesn’t want to hear. This was tough. I was disappointed when she discounted his ability to work as a bartender. That was really bad. She knew it and she knew she was acting out from some part of her that wasn’t getting what she wanted. But she is not going to second guess her decision to leave Storybooke. She asked Killian about Henry and she asked him what he thought and then she couldn’t accept his response. His thoughtful and reasonable response! She hurt him and she knows it, and honestly she knows it’s the people we love the most that we hurt the most. Killian moving out had to happen, and it will cause Emma to reflect on what she is losing. Thanks for the chapter, this is very good and actually made me think of several personal situations!
BlueFlanmes chapter 3 . 4/2/2019
Ooof!
This chapter was excruciating (but perfect) as all of the tension culminated and spilled out. But honestly, it was needed to get Emma to pull her head out of the sand.
Henry’s anger was perfect, and understandable that he just wants to go back home.
But wow, Emma’s (as another put it) pissing all over Killian’s achievements as he tries so hard to help her was so painful- especially her language about his arm. Good on him for walking away, because sometimes people need a reminder that they’re not the only ones suffering. It was so perfectly in character for me, that I could see it playing out like a movie in my head!
Now: part 2 of the mission, find Killian, and grovel. Then load up back to Storybrooke! ;-)

Excited for the next chapters as this fic is really great! :-)
Guest chapter 3 . 4/2/2019
Oh Emma! Killian was so proud of himself getting a job and the first thing she does is piss all over it and imply he won't be able to do it because of his disability. Not okay Emma! And then the arguments with Henry and Killian. I understand she's suffering but that is never, ever, a valid excuse to inflict pain on someone else. There comes a point where you have to look after your own mental and emotional health so I'm really glad Killian left. Emma has a lot of making up to do to both of them.
PastOneonta chapter 2 . 4/1/2019
Henry is perfect, you have written him so well. He might be right in that Killian is enough of a connection to Storybrooke and fairytale life that he eases any regret Emma might feel. If he finds his own life, apartment and job, she might be the jealous one. I love this thought Emma has, ‘since when has this man never not been trouble?’ So very true! I like how Killian can anticipate Emma and her feelings and reactions, it helps to understand her and to stay patient. Thanks for the chapter.

Fantastic chapter! It was very emotive on so many levels.

Just burned through this story this morning and wow! Loving it so far! Really enjoying this aspect of Hook following, but only after getting the "blessing" from the Charmings and even Regina (of course also serving to jump start his initiation into the Land Without Magic), and with the goal of trying to bring Emma home, if it is what will ultimately make her happy (something David shares as well). Also kind of love how Hook wants to text David right away to tell him about his new work, all the Captain Charming feels! :) The Captain Believer (was that their broship?) feels are also high, loving how Hook and Henry are developing their relationship, and how Hook handles Henry in general from the adult/parental perspective. Just, so many great things happening, can't wait to see how things will progress now that Hook is off finding his own way. Thank you so much for creating/sharing such a fun story!

Great chapter. Jennifer Baratta
blowmiakisscolin chapter 3 . 3/31/2019
Well, Emma, I think you just went and broke all of our hearts, not just poor Killian’s! By damn, that was so beautifully written and so deliciously tense! My heart was pounding as the argument escalated and it dropped when she hit him with that “I don’t need you and I don’t want you”. Because yeah, we all know she was lying and just hitting him with words that she knew would hurt the most (a talent of Emma’s that she employs to protect herself when someone gets too close and hits her with more truth than she can handle in that moment), but poor Killian took that to heart.

I can’t wait for the next update, as always! Loving every chapter! Thanks so much for this masterpiece!
