Of course, that'd happen. No way rescuing Batman would go EASY for Robin.

Now if at least one of them can recognize what's going on, then maybe they can fight thru the hallucinations.

This kind of reminds me of when Tim first rescued Batman from Scarecrow. He got a dose of fear toxin, as well, but pulled thru to save Bruce (it was the same issue where at the very end, he debuted in his Robin uniform...which was a major improvement in style/function over Dick's/Jason's costumes)

Hope Batman's little trip in prison won't be a reason to free these idiots. Because they're idiots, not answering Batman's questions. Poor Dick needs to move on and it's not going to happen if Jasper and Mathilda go after him once they are free.

I love how that guard at the end is so used to that, he's just like "oh, another one beaten up by Batman. Just a normal day here, la de da"

Oh boy, little does Bruce know that not only will Dick become a crinefighter, but also that he'll grow into probably THE most trusted person in the superhero community.

Not even Superman can convince every single hero to jump into a portal to another dimension to save themselves without being questioned. Nightwing, on the other hand... ;-)

Well, Dick wants to become Robin. Bruce, it's Jason who dies, not Dick, so don't worry. Dick will be fine. Now Jason... Yeah.
Also, poor Dick :( (I feel like I've said that a lot) And when are you going to continue updating Ashes of Disaster? It feels like your getting to that point soon.

Also, Bruce, don't kill them. Just hurt them so much that they feel pain for the rest of their miserable lives. Much worse then death!

Oh Dickie, poor thing. He deserves so much love and hugs and cuddles and hot chocolate and ... More seriously, he's in so much pain, hope Bruce won't send him back to school and make him have school at home.

Yeah! He's home! Bruce needs to get Jasper and Mathilda in jail. Greg is a good man after all. Hope we'll keep seing him in the story to check on Dick

Well that turned around quickly once Dick realized he was back with people who he can trust.

Now that he knows he can't get in trouble with those asshole "foster parents", he seems more concerned about what Batman would do to them.

Looks also like he's starting to remember "hey wait, good people like Bruce and Alfred never beat me or the other stuff for my punishments...it's WRONG!"

I hope Dick becomes his chatty, confident self once more and tells the social worker, the police, and the courts EVERYTHING, and gets those two cretins thrown behind bars for life.

My heart hurts... *cries*
DICK! Please be okay... And if Jastilda is at that door and tries to hurt Dick... I will somehow enter the story and beat up Jastilda myself. Somehow. If Batman doesn't first, that is.

He's going back home! I really, like REALY hope he'll be back in Wayne Manor before the end of the next chapter! I'm kidding, write your story as you wish (but I still hope). I love how you take Greg's point of view of the whole situation. Jasper and Mathilda needs to pay for what they did!
