This was a nice open ending. And while is true that there are some questions unaswered (like Ruby beating the freaking Dragon), I think it works fine as it is.

I'll go check on that Pyrrha fic. It's a shame that she's always used for romance when she offers a lot to work with in her character.

Awesome story, though i'dve liked to have seen some resolution on Raven's part, post attack. Something as simple as a conversation between her and Qrow, or maybe between her, Yang, and Jaune.

I absolutely love this ending. It was quite satisfying for me but I hope that this story can continue in the future. This goes down as one of my favorite Dragonslayer stories.

So it's JAUNE who loses his arm. Whoa!

Okay, this is fucking epic.

First off: I liked the fact that even with aura and his strenght, Jaune couldn't get them out to safety (didn't help that he's been figthing Grimm when this ordeal started). And with Yang having a broken aura and a wound, good for tension.

Second: Damn, you did good enough with Cinder finding Jaune. He obviously wouldn't be able to match her, but he made the effort for Yang's survival and that's great.

Third: I liked the fight. While Yang certainly got a good start, and got a hold on the Maiden powers for a while, Cinder still is her better. But then here comes Jaune Boi with the killing blow, sporting a bloody stump too.

Congrats, because this chapter was certainly better than I expected. Cinder died, and one of our heroes payed for it. What a ride this was- I still remember when this started as any ship-fic does; in happy times, peaceful times with Salem out of mind.

Holy shit my dude, that's an interesting dynamic you made. I sincerely hope you continue post Vol 3 because I look forward to seeing this update every Sunday and I'll be sad if you don't continue. Well either way, I'll be looking forward to more stuff from you. Hopefully more Dragonslayer content.

I can see why this was a pain, and you did good.

I'm glad to see Yang didn't win, and that she didn't die thanks to Jaune coming just at the nick of time and the timely appearance of the Grimm Dragon.

It's also good to know this isn't the end, because it doesn't feel like one. But I'm guessing it's coming sometime soon.

Good chapter, I'll look forward to what comes next. Since the odds could still be in Cinder's favor with the Dragon here.
