I feel like “eater of Voldemort” is a much better title than “defeater of Voldemort” because it requires the personal sacrifice of your taste buds. Yuck! But I always enjoy fics (all maybe three I’ve read) where Remus is ultimately responsible for ending their dark lord problem and accidentally starts a werewolf rights movement. This was a great fic!

This is entirely too much fun! Strangely, one of the highlights is Perfect Percy giving Harry obvious hints (amazing, compass, ball of twine) about the third task. I adore everyone rallying around Harry the way I always wished they would in canon. Yes, he was always going to be a target of Voldemort but that never should’ve meant he needed to fight mostly on his own with so many capable witches and wizards around him. And Cedric and Viktor joining their group was just icing on the cake.

Good question. This isn't explicitely stated in the story, but from reading the books I assume that house elves are pretty powerful and either the Ministry cannot detect house elves or house elves can mimic wizard magic. We also know that house elves are underestimated. When Dobby got Harry in trouble before second year he did it on purpose, possibly mimicking Harry's magic. In this story, he can also conceal their magic from the Ministry's detection in the same way that house elves arent detected. As to why he hadn't been getting Harry food already, Harry didn't ask. Hermione hired him immediately in this story, but in canon we don't see him again until Harry visits the kitchens in his fourth year. I hope that makes sense.

Good story but right from the beginning saw some errors, first if it was so easy to have Dobby help Harry get around the lack of food etc why wasn't it done before which brings us to the second question, Harry got charged with misuse of magic when Dobby used magic, ie drop a cake at the Drusley's home. Why can Dobby get away with doing that now helping Hermionie?
