... Bopdog erase this there's a huge mistake we made outside of any individual chapter that really messes up a lot of details in this fic. The ages, if we are being generous put Jaden at 15 in 2004-2005 during his first school year and Syrus is the same which make sense... the problem come from the other side. Now I'm by no means 100% aware of Japanese High School ages but going off of Persona 3 taking place during the 2009-2010 school year and there being three years in Japanese High Schools (From what I could double check anyway) that would mean Jaden and Syrus have already graduated Duel Academy and moved on in their lives at least a year prior to Mitsuru meeting the other members of S.E.E.S. and by extension... it means they wouldn't be at Duel Academy during the encounter with Nyx or any of the event with the Investigation Team... the earliest of which being when that team forms in the 2011-2012 school year. The ages just create a huge problem, it's just like the other idea I told you about... Persona and Yu-Gi-Oh! just can't blend, I hate to point this out now but it just occurred to me that this fic isn't possible.
