While I do think it’s a shame that this story is being cancelled, (sarcastic protagonists give me life, especially ones as funny as yours, and I truly do believe that this is very well written), it’s your call to make. Thank you for telling your readers that you were cancelling it, however! Lots of times, writers just stop, not notifications or anything, leaving the story in limbo. Thank you for not doing that.

That's fair though equally it could be argued that some differences could occur. I for one could tell that Myne was trouble granted she took it further than expected but I'd still have tried to stay clear of her. Changes are also inevitable because it's revealed pretty soon for the anime that the systems for weapon strengthening go off belief based on what you know. Due to this the other 3's main strengthening are pretty different though they all know stuff that's common like ability transferring which can unlock more forms, absorbing corpses for drops and copying existing weapons. Ren gains experience in a form which gives an energy to boost a weapon, Motoyasu infuses materials to boost weapons with a cap based on rarity and Itsuki turns items to energy for boosts which also goto rarity.

Due to all this technically you could do better or worse mechanically than naofumi because he gets lucky and hits some big benefits though some aren't luck like he feeds scraps to the shield and gets a few shields from a monster (each form has a hidden stat boost for unlocking unlike the others he has tons of low tier 1s and 2s mainly to def from this) instead of a single one. Based on franchise experience you could know more for example I'd expect most to see rarity as a min and probably know of others based on common trends if you believe in one it appears in the help menu which naofumi also didn't dig through.

Damn man that does suck but it is understandable I've read through a couple of other gamer fics and so far you've done the best job with it. The others were way to freakin complicated and full useless info dumping. I won't I wasn't looking forward to this story cause like I said you've done the best so far but also I like the characters you come up with and they way they similar things to original character/story but better.

At least your not canceling RWBY Requiem. I know Season 6 left a bad taste in my and a lot of other people's mouths. However I recently found a story that pretty much single-handedly restored my love for the series as a whole. If you haven't read Coeur Al'Aran's "Relic of the Future" yet give it a look. He has a bunch of other RWBY stories just as amazing as the one I recommended. If there's anything that can help one move on from that trainwreck of a season it's that guy's works.

Not a fan of this one. Alex doesn't really seem to bring anything to the table that Naofumi doesn't, aside from being slightly more of an edgy dick, and the addition of the prison scene is the only real change from canon so far.

This is basically a complete rehash of the anime and manga, nothing original the MC is just bigger so it allows him to through his weight around.
