This was a nice missing scene. I liked how you're bringing up the way Luther's time on the moon has affected him and made it difficult for him to put up with silence around others. I'd believe after some years on the moon all alone you'd want to hear people talk a lot. Honestly, Luther's probably the only one out all the siblings who has any semblance of an idea of the isolation Five went through at the end of the world.
I liked how he acknowledges his own limited intelligence when compared to Five's and the way it frustrates him how he can shut him up so easily and get his way out of answering questions that Luther wants to know the answer to too.
The way he's willing to believe and trust Five about being from the end of the world and all of that because of that brief haunted look he got a look at was good too. Luther does seem to be more run by emotions than logic anyway. So him trusting the feeling he saw on Five's face rather than any explanation he could have give felt very in-character for Luther too.
