This was a good story. Poor Sam missed his mother. I'm glad that Frodo kept Sam company. I wish I could live in the shire because its so peaceful.

Oh , that was beautiful. I havn't read many before-the-ring fics, but I can tell that this one's always going to be a favourite of mine. little Sam is just as adoarable as grown-up Sam. I loved it - you have talent. you captured all of the characters so well, and it's very well written. congratulations on a marvellous peice of work.

Oh, wow-this actually made me cry. Poor Sam! *sniffs* You know, there have to be thousands of 'young Frodo meets young Sam' stories out there, and I never get tired of them. _ I do have to say, though, this is among the best I've read. Bravo! I sincerely hope there'll be more forthcoming...? :)
