This story is absolutely AMAZING! I know I'm a bit late to the game, but I just recently found myself diving back into Harry Potter as a whole, and wow am I glad I found this! The way you go back and forth between Charlie's past and her present in bits and pieces really does a wonderful job of keeping things moving along, and keeping the reader itching for more! I have to admit, I was really rooting for Charlie and Severus until the "separation" (and I still am, if I'm being honest, but I appreciate that it isn't easy for either of them, and it really wouldn't be true to either of their characters if it was simple). But now? I'm getting a bad feeling about what the "black clouds" in Spinner's End really are...and of course I will be lurking around in some dusty corner somewhere, waiting for whenever the next chapter is out! :D

OOOH FUCK. SHIT’S GOING DOWWWNNN. Poor Charlie, she finally seemed like she was proud of herself and making a new place in the world only to find out it was for nothing. I adore how angry Severus gets on her behalf, his protective nature really betrays how much he cares for her. This reunion is about to be willldddd, it’s been TWO YEARS.

This story is so fantastic. I spend wayyy to much time looking for half decent Severus/OC stories and this exceeds my expectations! Not only is this well written, unique, and interesting, but Charlie has an actual personality beyond the romance!? Whattttt?! She is one of my favorite OC’s to date, truly. She is flawed, and has made many mistakes. She has been through a shit storm of events and emotions that she is still working through. But beneath it all, she is an actual good person. Yes, she has done some terrible shit, but you do a great job illustrating the position being tied to Voldemort puts people in. You literally have no choice unless you are willing to die, like Regulus.

I really love the chapters from Severus and Remus’s POVs. They are always so interesting to see events from others eyes. Like Remus recalling that James hated Charlie. It makes sense that he would be jealous of their relationship but seeing that Charlie has never thought about him, we would never know.

I could literally ramble all day but I’ll just end by telling you that I love this story, I hope you update again soon, I love Honeydukes Pink Coconut Ice, and go Hufflepuff :)

About this chapter, I’m so confused on what Dumbledore and Moody want with her if not to get more experience and get better at defense. She’s licensed as Hit Witch but they’re not putting her on the field. They’re just going to use her when time comes.
