Okay, my suspenders of disbelief snapped when the souvenir shop guy GAVE AWAY a comic book. Speaking as a long-time resident of tourist-trap-ville, Florida, I assure you that in no continuity, comics or otherwise, anywhere, does a souvenir shop worker give ANYTHING away. Other than that, BWAHAHAHAHA! From the secession of Kansas City to the tupperware reality rip, that was just plain great. Bets on how long it takes for Lex to get the comic away from Clark?

Hey, here I am in Kansas City, and I had NO IDEA that I'm living in some sort of alternate-reality Metropolis! Or ... something like that. I kept picturing the setting as Worlds of Fun, KC's big theme park.

Anyway, very, very funny and clever. And you don't have to squint very hard for Clex: " 'Anyway, eventually you'll become a reporter, marry your partner, Lois Lane,' Clark noticed both Chloe and Lex look at him sharply at those words ..." Hee hee!

That's so awesome, do not, I repeat do not! end the story. It would also be kool if Chloe found out the truth.

Please don't let that be the end. It was too funny for it to be so. More please. Great story. RG.

What a clever idea! And beautifully executed!

Loved the comic shop guys rattling off all the intel on Sup. And it's a brilliant (and fun) way to explain how the Smallville universe changes so our Lex and Clark can up together happily ever after! (I always thought Clark keeping it a secret and lying to Lex was going to be his big mistake in causing Lex to never trust or love anyone...)

I really, really hope that you continue on with this. Personally, I'd love to see Pete and Chloe finally figure it out. It's not like they'd ever tell anyone or try to manipulate Clark with the info.

I DEFINITELY would love to see what happens next with Lex. 'Cause we all know Lex's gigantic, beautiful brain is adding up all the loose pieces of info he knows on Clark and is coming out with an answer of Kal-El, Krypton, and super powers. I truly hope Clark isn't stupid enough to try to lie to Lex either...because Lex will be flaming pissed at Clark for thinking Lex is that stupid or slow. Or if he is that stupid, he better have a good method to calm Lex down and make it up to him.

What a fun, delightful premise! I really, really, really hope you continue on in this universe you've spun. Please write more!

PS: I hope that if Chloe does start to believe...maybe after a night of thinking on it...she gets pissed at Clark for marrying her cousin Lois. If he had to go and marry a chick, what's wrong with Chloe? And if Chloe likes Lex (he was the one who supported the road trip in the first place...so I can see them being friends), I'd love to see her get indignant that Clark had the nerve to dump Lexy, bypass her, and go directly straight to her cousin! Gr...

I luv smallville and follow the story very close, You totally captured each chacter's personality, especially chloe.
