The story was quite promising upto chapter 2, until you ruin it at chapter 3.
Turn out the timeline was loooong before the canon timeline.
Normally this will be a good idea since this will truly be an original story that was separated from canon story, but here is my question, do you have what it take to made a good original story while still adhere to the canon setting?
Judging by the fact that this story haven't got update for mire than half a year, then the answer was quite obvious.
It's better to stick to the canon timeline if you want to made a good fanfic with ease, since the canon already prepared everything for you: world building, characters, plot, etc...
Otherwise you will be easily swamp with writer block, unless you were a briliant author that capable of making a story with ease.
Moreover the 'God' character at chapter 3 was very OC, with sadistic and villain vibe.
Considering that I'm not a christian, I'm not that offended by it still made me quite uncomfortable. If a non-christ like me was quite uncomfortable with how you portrayed 'The God' in this story, then nothing should be said about how those christian readers feel.
It will be better if you rewrite this story, especially starting from chapter 3 and made the timeline as the same as the canon in DxD.

I really enjoy the story so far. It has an interesting premise and I look forward to seeing where you go with it.

I don’t know how I feel about this story. It had a solid setting with interesting base characters, but their portrayal feels off for some reason. However I’ll be staying around to see where this goes.

Admittedly, Lancelot is one of my favorite characters too.

Also to add my own cents, dropping characters is a bit excessive and the whole Lancelot gaining his sanity back? Yeah... I mostly skipped that part due to cringe (I do not claim to know everything) and the whole plot bullshitting with the whole gaining sanity thing.

I'm not gonna say it's garbage but the plot itself and they way you display your version of characters aren't well.
