Timing wise, I think the end of 3rd year with the mass dementor attack near the end up to around the yule ball. That's the first time Harry actually got close to "dying". Hell all of 3rd year should leave both Harry and Naruko feeling extra vulnerable since Harry will relive Voldemorts attack and Naruko should be reliving Obito and Kurama's attack on Konoha where her parents died right in front of her as well as all the other shit she had to put up with growing up. Plus you've already established Naruko as clingy and while she's "attempting" to break Harry of his not use to touching thing what she's really doing is causing Harry to integrate an extremely affectionate pretty girl into his safe zone that he should be reaching out to for cuddles during third year. And giving comfort as well. All of which would greatly accelerate feelings. TBH you laid good groundwork for it to happen naturally and way earlier than 5th years attempt with cho. Harry and Naruko might even be leaning on each other hard second year if Hermoine gets petrified like in canon.

god i love your chapters, fast paced and yet detailed when needed focusing on Narukos part of the story more than Harry's since atm his is mostly following canon with a few divergences such as slightly better decisions and desire to listen to someone other than just ron. Is Naruko already crushing on Harry and giving little actions?

honestly it's an easy thing to have happen, harry and other talking about parents see's the article which causes him to jump on it. HAGRID is the actual issue here. Him being the bumbling lovable fool he is, made the error of making a big deal of dumbledore trusting him to stroke his ego a bit. I feel Hagrid hardly if ever has anyone hanging off his words the way Harry did. Then he fumbled and bumbled with his response to Harry which would attract anyone's attention let alone the person who was physically there. tbh harry making said mistake and naruko getting upset really does feel natural here. So I think you made the right choice and did well with it. In fact Harry has made several choices different because of Naruko's influence such as not being snarky to snape but more sincere despite his frustration.

Why does everyone on this site spell quite wrong. They keep spelling it as quiet. They are two completely different words. "quiet" is the opposite of loud. "quite" is used in a sentence like "That's not quite the way I'd put it" out and is Similar to the words "completelyabsolutely" and "exactly". It's not just one person either. It's literally everyone on this site that I've read from so far. Why can't people look up what the bloody words mean and how they're spelled before using them?

Though my Japanese is very limited I do know that catchphrases or certain words are not real Japanese, words like Dattebayo or Dattebane may derive from real Japanese words they are fake. Well that's what I got from learning Japanese from some Youtuber: that trying to learn it by Google translate or anime is a bad idea that you should learn it from an actual Japanese person lol. Anyway very good story and I hope to read more.

So I understand that this was written some time ago but I do have a few things that have been bothering me. One Naruko is super lax with the information she gives out, she gave mission details out to random civilians most military personal would not do so. Some things should be classified. Second they are 11 and 12 year olds right? You keep sexualizing them, yes in a few short years they are going to be horny little monsters but most girls have even gotten their periods at they again, most don’t start having dreams or weird feelings until they start puberty. I’m not against the characters experimenting with each others at some point but they are still too young for this. This is not to say that I don’t enjoy your story very much.
