Awwww! This is such a perfect finale for it all. It's sweet and warm, a little demented, ties up all the aspects of Cicero and Morrigan perfectly. And what would it be without a heart-wrenching ending! 3

That's cool that you converted the story completely to an original novel! It's amazing what a few simple changes can do because it does feel like a bit of a different world, although I don't mean that as a criticism!

I could almost forget how cruel Cicero used to be with the way he softened up with Morrigan, but I love seeing how far he has come! And oh my, Galla was no stranger to cruelty, either!

Wow, this was so good! It's a classic vicious cycle where the abused pass on their pain. Too bad Modia did not have anyone to support her or things could have been so different! By the time he grew to an age where she could have connected with him, she was too far gone in her facade. I wonder how Morrigan would have assessed her, if she could have.

I'm so happy you showed how Cicero is doing afterwards! I gasped right along with him when he saw the olive tree cut down! :0 What a kick in the gut for him! But the little crow did show up anyway :3 I loved seeing him talk to her again and saying she took the tree for herself. So sweet.

And I like that he's trying to be a little nicer, although that quip about his mother and parties cracked me up. Couldn't help it could he? haha! I like the way you wrote Cassio and Clovia, too. Just great all around!

Ahhhh! I am crying it's over, I cried when he killed her. It was so moving and sad and I could just feel all his sorrow. The line that really stung was where he says that death is disgusting when it plays dirty.

And rewinding a little bit, I really loved the chapter where Morrigan killed Nazeem. I like the way you set up the flashbacks with Cicero stalking him, and triggered her with him saying no one cares about her. Seeing her change and stand up to him, and the way Cicero was just in complete awe was so great!

Poor Cicero, I wonder what he will do with his life now? He can never be the same! But it's true, if he had not met her she would never had gone ahead of him to create that lovely afterlife, a reward for all of his years of service!

I'm kinda all over the place, but omg the fact that he buried her by hand, gently...Cicero you poor man! He couldn't even bear for them to throw dirt on her. It makes me want to cry some more!

You did such an amazing job with this story! Congrats! I look forward to the little extras!

Ahh I can't believe it's almost over! It's nice to see them back where it all began and Cicero savoring every second he has left with her is both sweet and heartbreaking! Morrigan is being really calm and strong about what is happening to her and I love that Cicero was able to help her find peace with her fate.

I bet it will take a lot of self-control for Cicero to not just slit Nazeem's throat when he sees him! Except he has to find out what that fool meant to accomplish by killing Morrigan!

Looking forward, but also dreading, the rest of the chapters!

Haha I love when Cicero gets all sensitive about his age, good one Morrigan! XD I love that her personality has really come out. It's so sad that now so close to death, she seems more alive than ever!

Cicero telling her that she's perfect and he met her at the right time in his life was SO SWEET! That's the kind of stuff that just melts me into a grinning puddle.

Hah, it would certainly be strange if a little blood would put off Cicero! I like seeing Morrigan relax so easily after being a bit embarrassed and then taking charge! Love the ending and I can't wait to see what happens when the find Nazeem!

Morrigan's explanation of why the real Cicero is still there and how she really knows him is SO BEAUTIFUL! He had not even realized how much she saw into him, more than even he saw himself. And he's right, maybe she is biased by her love for him to give him much more leniency for his actions, but that is what love is for. To be known for who you are and not abandoned, even if it can be uncomfortable sometimes.

I also really liked his statement to Amun'e Phis that Morrigan should not be treated as a child and talked about behind her back, as if she were to be managed and not seen as the capable individual he knows she is.

LOVE IT!

Oh, I could feel Cicero's suffering in this chapter. I can't explain how much I loved this, you did a great job! I'm so glad he made it back to Morrigan. Thinking of her searching around for him and him telling her to be careful on the stairs...ugh, I'm not crying, you're crying!

You know I never thought about the fact that Morrigan fell in love with Cicero while he was the Jester and how he must feel that she doesn't truly know the real him. But I think Morrigan knows him better than he thinks.

I loved the line where he's thinking her face is the world, that was beautiful.

Can't wait for the next part!

YES, Cicero will not go down without taking you fools with him! You did a great job of showing how hurt he is, knowing he didn't have time to play games. Oooh, Nazeem you will pay some way or other!

I really enjoyed Cicero's delirium, I could it all in my head, you gave good details! Through the whole chapter you did a nice job of making everything feel very tense and like the clock is ticking on his life. And the part where the Mother decomposes into the mummy was really good, too.

I'm very eager to see what happens now!

This chapter made me feel so sad! Morrigan is getting worse and poor Cicero is having such a hard time with it. :(

Cicero! You should have killed that beggar! Hopefully now, he can kill them both, after finding out why the Nord wanted Morrigan dead, of course! Kill the beggar, then torture the answer from the Nord!

The last part is so unbelievable hot... I love your depiction of Cicero so much. It's great how you capture and interpret his character.
And all together, this is such an awesome story! One of the best I've ever read, so far.
