I knew the “...machinery of wood and metal” was Hiccup’s prosthetic leg. In all of the series Hiccup’s leg was just referred to as a metal leg. I like that he called a prosthetic leg in The Hidden World.

Me too! How To Train Your Dragon has become such a big part of my life, I cried a lot when I saw The Hidden World. Beautifully written by the way! You did an amazing job capturing the dynamics that made me fall in love with the series: friendship, family and love. The added action and fantasy just makes it another level of amazing

Hiccup and Toothless's story has also become are story and it changed us forever.

Pleeeassee tell me you're going to write more of this. This was superb writing and is exactly what I'm looking for right now. I'm just eating up all the sad and emotional stories right now. I couldn't get myself to cry in the theater when I saw the movie but boy did I want to. And I still want to. Knowing that Hiccup and Toothless can no longer be together just breaks my heart. Yeah they get to see each other again but it's like 9 years later or something. Anyways, please continue!

Its like, just when I think there's nothing more to say, you go and give me THIS...! This was so perfect. Everything about it. I also was just waiting for him to break... I didn't realize he was wearing that brave face for so long. But there is no doubt he was holding in the pain. Oh and good girl, Astrid! She is the best thing for him right now, and she never fails at doing her job. And then with the dragon - yeah you SHOULD wonder why you left you stupid dragon! Keep trying to convince yourself you did the right thing... but at the same time it is a cruel truth... and then with the freaking prosthetic foot! YES! I also really wanted him to have something to remember him by. So yes! Thank you! You are right about all of it! Good job!
