I like it. I thought it was actually pretty good.
I'm a fan of Scott and Jean and it is so rare to find anything decent about them...thanks for leaving this up, even if you don't like it much.

Okay it's a super old story I know but I'm reading it now. I love everything so far by the way. Very good writing. But I laughed sooooooo hard at the Worms comment. I LOVE that story, it's one of my favorites actually. And I really like the idea of having a connected network of writers who appreciate each others work and feed off of it, no matter how long ago it occurred. Great job, thanks for that moment of unity.

I see no reason for you to not like this story. I loved it. Originality is overrated anyway. It is not about who does it first, but who does it best, and in my opinion that was you.

I liked this part the best, was it a follow-on from the comic!scott history where he's not as smart/straight forward to the point of not!getting some things?

If not, still enjoyable and easy to sympathise with, since I figure Jean is smarter than the average girl

The way he worded it made Jean stop. "You don't know what you did?" she asked slowly.

Scott took it the wrong way and became even more defensive. "You weren't exactly explaining yourself very clearly. How am I supposed to know what I did wrong if all you were doing was yelling at me?"

"You didn't do anything wrong. It was my fault. I shouldn't have yelled at you. I should be the one apologizing," Jean said.

"It wasn't my fault?" Scott asked, not wholly believing her. Beneath his glasses, his eyebrows quirked in disbelief."

So far so good. Very enjoyable.

A very endearing chapter, and it's nice to read the thoughts/acknowledgement that red shades would make Scott practically colour blind.

I'm sorry to bring this up, since the story was written so many years ago and in the Epilogue you said you were unhappy with the finished product, but when I read a good story that I really like I feel the need to let the author know even if it the story was written a long time ago. Because credit should be given where credit is due and you deserve a lot. I really enjoyed this story, really really enjoyed it. I loved your interpretations of Scott and Jean and the story was fabulous and the shifting in the timeline wasn't confusing. I just wanted you to know that I appreciated your work and I certainly hope you're proud of yourself.

I know what it's like to hate an old story, so I'm quite grateful that you left this up! It hit just the right spot. I just finished watching all 4 seasons of the show in a bought of nostalgia on hulu, and I immediately took to and trawled for fic. As is to be expected, most of it is terrible, but I was specifically looking for Jean & Scott fic that dealt with the quieter moments. Your story was perfect for scratching my itch. Thank you so much for writing it! And especially thank you for being a competent writer with an advanced grasp of sentence structure and formatting. It's really quite good! You should be proud.

seriously, I looved your story! I mean I love Jean and Scott, and you didn't just make this into one big fluff piece, which was real nice! the whole shared nightmares thing? awesome!-also, I haven't delved that deep into X-Men fanfic yet, but so far I haven't come across any that'd made me think *aw, all been done before* when reading your story :D

I don't know why you don't like your story anymore, I've loved reading it! Even if it's been done before... well, everything has already been done, it's always interesting to see other people's take on a subject!
