It’s actually a shame this isn’t being updated anymore. This was a really interesting story with a unique spin on what would happen if Izuku had been in 1-B instead. Do hope you come back to this.

This is by far the best 1-B story that I have seen on the site and I really hope that it continues in the near future. You've done a great job with the character so far and while nothing much has changed YET, I can see great potential in the near future during and after USJ. Really hope to see this go on.

My one main criticism of the story so far is Kamakiri. I think you're trying too hard to make him into a Bakugo expy with his lust for battle and coldness to everyone. While he probably wouldn't be close to the class, I think what's happened so far is a little extreme. Even then I would be okay with it if his personality was fleshed out beyond just "I like battle and I only like the strong!". These type of personalities are among the weakest of character writing in terms of my opinion as they are rather flat and boring. Since we're only six chapters in then I hope to be proven wrong and there's more exploration later.

Overall the story feels reminiscent of Torchbearer in how well it handles a large ensemble. Really good!

Major session I don't think you have any room to say someone else ain't writing their own story correctly since all of your stories are garbage and plus it doesn't matter what happens in RL this doesn't take place in real life if this took place in RL nobody would have super powers and plus quirks that damage their user as badly as Izuku's quirk does most likely don't happen all that much if at all and seen quite bit changes in the canon of the story.

Don't listen to any of the guys bitching about your story they're a bunch fucking idiots who cares about how many people like your story it's not like your making money from making fanfiction for these cunts make the story how you want to the people bitching about how similar it is you must be Pretty fucking stupid if you can't see how different it is from the actual canon material, also y'all do know not everybody has unique personalities right? There will always be that one arrogant jerk no matter how much y'all try to deny it.

This is a very interesting take on MHA. Great job on expanding all the sub characters for this tale.

Enjoyed the small bits of characterization during during the introductions, though I felt the opening student file mix-up was a bit superfluous.

There was actually a similar story from 2017 that didn’t continue after chapter 2, so I’m glad to see an AU like this being made. Keep up the good work.

I do agree you probably didn’t have to give every character in class 1b so much attention to start here but I feel you’re getting too much criticism for rehashing the original story. I feel it’s different enough to work fine

Hate to say it, but Major Session's review does raise some valid points. On the other hand the same could probably be said of half the stories posted on this site.

What I find more difficult to coupe with it your slow pace. Six chapters and you're still only on the second day? Several chapters ago I remarked that you would be facing a challenge in having to flesh out all of these new characters. The challenge is still there, but you seem to be intent on making this even more difficult by trying to flesh them all out right from the get-go. As a result you've ended up requiring three lengthy chapters for something which probably could have been covered in one (maybe two if you were to look at what comes afterward). In contrast, at this point in canon most of the students from class 1-A are still barely names and the only battle trial which really stands out (other than Midoriya vs Bakugo) would be Todoroki's (and that's simply because he made such a display of raw power that even Bakugo recognized that there was someone out there who might be stronger than he was).

My advice would be to concentrate on a small circle of individuals surrounding Midoriya (since he's the central character), then slowly expand that circle over time to include more details regarding the other students. It will make your story easier for the readers to follow, and may even make it easier for you to write.

Incidentally, any time Komori gets screen time, the R.E.M. song "Flowers of Guatemala" pops into my head.

idk how to feel about kendo kamakiri backstory i think i don't like it at all also he kinda op and i dont like that and i dislike his behavior and his opinions

also i really don't like that izuku lost i had really wanted him to win i dont know why the time suddenly ended when neither of the fights were long (could not have been more the 5 to 7 mins id think at most 10 to 13 mins from start to izuku vs kamakiri which was the time-out and all this time guesses are pushing time to the extreme id think it even shorter because how fast pace and seemingly little idle and travel time)

Well sorry to say, this is where I unfollow. You haven’t really changed much from the canon story just the characters, nothing really differs like I thought it would. And I just don’t find any interest in the Kendo/Mantis rivalry. I know you said you want one point of change to cause a snowball effect but so far the Izuku in 1-B isn’t it. Overall I’m liking this story so far but my main issue with it is Kamakiri. He’s well past unbearable to read and stunningly arrogant for someone who hasn’t actually done anything of note. Kendo damn near beat him alone and he never fought Izuku so why is he acting like he kicked Dekus ass? He only won because the time ran out. If you had to end it on a time out it would have been a billion times better read if when Izuku confronted him he got blasted through a few walls by OfA hit without so much as managing to mess up Dekus clothes and then the time ran out.
