This story is far too neat and clean for game of thrones. Why don't you make it more gory and ruthless like the actual series is. I also would like it if Duncan wasn't so much of a Gary Stu. He seems too perfect in every situation he is a part in.

This story is too clear cut to be a game of thrones story, it would probably be fine over in Lotr, but reading it here feels like reading about a Gary Stu

Love this, seeing all these characters interact with each other is always fun, hope for more soon.

I really enjoyed the story I saw Duncan is developing and how his house is shrouded in mystery and also anxious to see it when a story has uncle is also where he got to his Valerian blade. although I'm scarwd that either God or the stoic Archer may be spies.

A joyful moment of peace after that last mission, Duncan and his buds have utterly no idea how REAL that piece of information is. Then again, nobody will believe someone who is thought to be dead will come back alive. It also looks like everything is going on like the series.

Duncan and his band heads for King's Landing and our boy Dunk is going to get laid. Congrats, our boy is growing up!

Still going strong. Duncan and his group finishing a serious dangerous mission is a nice step-up. Seeing hot-headed Dyra screw up and almost mess everyone others up is a fairly good lesson. Her behavior is entirely natural considering how men treats women. But now, Duncan will be able to keep her temper down.

Still, lil' Aegon VI Targaryen!? I had thought this secret Kruik had was about the illegitimacy of Robert's children? Damn...but then again, that would be something Varys would try to keep quiet.

Nice development. Duncan and Hof having a quarrel over Dyra's participation is a natural debate in that era. Most men see women as a burden but I am glad that Duncan and Hof was able to get over it for now. Showing that Dyra will have an uphill battle to prove her worth sets up an excellent story for her. The fact that she doesn't participates with the other two women in their activities also defines herself with a strong sense of self-esteem.

Also, it is quite interesting to see that while Duncan strives to be an honorable man, he is fully aware that most fighters will resort to dishonorable means to win in life-or-death situations which is very true in many cases. No doubt Mors Westford drilled that into Duncan's head throughout his youth.

Anyway, looking forward to the next chapter. For those who read the books and watched the TV show, we all have a fairly good idea what information Kruik the Rat possesses...

This is excellent story so far and I'm look forward for the next chapter. I am very curious of what Duncan and his merry mind do when the "War of the Five Kings" starts.

I just read the whole story and I must say this is quite fascinating. It is rare to find an GoT/ASOIAF fanfic that isn't centered on someone from one of the Great Houses. What's more this fanfic has major qualities from the 2012 video game. This chapter in particular was nice. It shows Duncan that everything is what it seems.
